Will Computer Difficulties Never End
Again I am caught in a maelstrom of the computer having fun with me. It's no fun for me.
First of all, I was working on another blog this morning. I was working on the blog about my visit with my nephew, his wife, and son who were arriving in Phoenix the eve of my departure.
As for the blog, I have to type directly onto the blog itself OR use notepad if there is something I'm copying from somewhere for instance. From notepad, I can copy onto the blog. This usually works just fine, no problem.
This morning, no matter what I did, no matter how hard I tried, when I copied from notepad even for the fifth time, the computer insisted on squeezing in a tiny little font. I wouldn't mind except that the tiny little font won't go across the whole page, and, well, it just won't work on the actual blog.
I would start over altogether, but there are photos on that blog, and I don't know how to post photos, and I'm surely not going to ask Heaven Admin to do it all over again.
Since I'm on the subject of recalcitrant computers, the night before I left Phoenix, because I had a very very early flight out and because it made sense to be closer to where my nephew was staying, I stayed in a Motel 6 which was also nearer the airport I was leaving from. I made sure to get a room with internet access.
I bought the computer access card, and I actually got it to work. Happy day! However, it only worked for about ten minutes before it wouldn't.
I have to tell you that I also had difficulty making the card key to my room work. It's a wonder that I can go forward in life considering my knack for technical difficulties. Between the key card not working and the internet not working, I must have walked back and forth ten times to the front desk which couldn't have been further away. One of the times I was walking to the front desk, another guest at the motel, as he was getting into his car, said to me: "You are sure getting your exercise, lady."
I must say that the people at the front desk were very nice. One would think they were happy to see me back for the tenth time.
Okay, back to the internet, I spoke to technical support on the phone for about fifteen minutes. I did everything tech support said to do, and nothing worked. Finally, tech support suggested I go back to the front desk and get a new card. I did.
However, the new card also didn't work. At that point, I quit.
You would think I would get used to computer difficulty by now, but, no, each time I am surprised and at my wit's end.
As for the blog about my nephew, I hope tomorrow will be another day, and that the blog program will have had enough rest and will do as I say.
It could happen, couldn't it?

When the Internet or computer does not work, it means something away from the computer awaits you!
In that case, One, I might be away from the computer quite a bit!
