Again and again I fall in love with God. It is His words that draw me, although sometimes, sometimes many times, I feel His embrace. Of course, words do not say what I want them to. I feel God's love greater than an embrace. Maybe it is God's Light I sense, yet it seems more simple than that. More simple and utterly powerful.
I have always fallen for sweet talk. I can know it's sweet talk, and still ask for more! Of course, with God we know every word is true.
Here is an example of God's sweet words I've just come across. These words of God's would certainly go into the 365 Day book on Human Relationships:
Turn the key in your heart as well and listen to what it says. And if, sometimes you fear that a gesture of your heart will seem foolish, then, so be it, let it seem foolish. But your heart will have had its say, and the day is saved, and maybe your heart will have visited another heart that sees not foolish but splendor.
Heavenletter #679 The Whisper of Your Heart
And here's one from the Book of God's Relationship with us:
Cream does rise to the top. And so do you, My beloved child, so do you rise to the top. Your heart is turning into pure sweet butter. Churning does that.
Heavenletter #2012 Steady Steady Is the Rudder of Life
Ah, the churning of life. I love that image. Here life pounds us a little bit, and we're becoming sweet butter.
I am immersed in God's words and loving it!
