A simpler life

At home in Iowa, I can say that my attention is 90% focused on Heavenletters™. It is my overwhelming desire to fulfill God's desires for Heavenletters. He gives Heavenletters to me certainly not just for me, and so, my heart is dedicated to Heavenletters. At home, my day naturally is focused on Heavenletters.  I live alone. I have my own space, etc.

By virtue of living in one room with another person, in this case with my daughter Lauren as I visit in Chicago, my attention is more fragmented.  There's also Teeny, the cat. There is television and shopping etc. and so many things to grab my attention in Chicago that I find myself pulled in many directions. Of course, I am responsible, not Chicago, not Teeny etc.  It fills my heart and my time to be here with Lauren and Teeny.

It's Saturday morning today as I write this, and Lauren is still sleeping. I haven't talked to anyone (except Teeny) and it's easier for me to be  centered on God. One of the beautiful things about Godwriting™ is that it can be done anywhere and everywhere.

Absolutely, I keep up with basic Heavenletter work while I am in Chicago. That's easy. I write down the day's Heavenletter. I do the blog.  I get Heavenletters and the blog up on Twitter. I oversee the forum etc. Nothing interferes with the basics. Ah, but the other aspects that wait to be taken care of...

Tomorrow I take Amtrak back. Jacqueline will pick me up. And I will get back to a simpler life.

I don't want to leave, yet I can't stay, and isn't that life for you!

Gloria, it sounds as though the time with Lauren and Teeny was full of neat surprises and a bit of adventure. Not to mention the scrumptious looking food you have been eating!

And the best was the dog blog. What a great city! Water and treats...

Just thought I would "Pop In" and say hi.

In love & light,
Lynda

So Glad you enjoyed your holyday with Lauren in Chicago. Have a good ride back and enjoy the scenery. Welcome back home and have a relaxing time at home. Mieke and I always are glad to be home and wonder why we ever went on holydays. Just enjoy, Love Jack
