Bernie's Show Continued
Bernie and I have known each other for five or six years, and he has been a constant star in Heaven's firmament.
He is so true to himself and ever seeking to serve God, questioning and finding answers and determined to help individuals and the world go higher. He cares so much about culturing peace in the world, and not just in his corner of it. Bernie's influence is enormous, and he serves as an example of what one human being can be and can do for the world.
Well, you know by now that I think the world of Bernie, and I don't care who knows it!
On the show, Bernie made me think of so many things to say, and the one hour was not long enough for two caring people to talk about God and all that He means to us. There was so much more I wanted to say, but do you think I remember now what all the topics were!
I do remember quite well, however, my contradicting the Kabbalah! What a nerve! That's another thing I could never have imagined.
And I do remember that we talked about how close God is to us. He is not far away at all. Here is a poem on the topic that Bernie wrote years ago that says the truth so well:
from a distance
they sang, god is watching us from a distance
i don't agree
i know god and it's a short trip to god
if you would like me to introduce you some day
just let me know or read on
when i was a child
i thought god was way up there
a long way off
now i know god is here
those who understand realize
if you can't see god
it's because you can't stoop low enough
or aren't tall enough to see in the mirror

I always learn from Bernie. At the very end I was able to get in a little appreciation for the volunteer angels who do so much for Heavenletters, and, of course, that included the translators. Then Bernie made a point I had never thought of. He said something like: "See, you start something, and you don't worry about how. You just start, and then help comes."
That is certainly what did happen. Of course, at the beginning I didn't even know enough to know that I would need help! I naturally don't think ahead.
I will, I'm sure, be talking about Bernie again. But now I will end this entry with a haiku poem that Karen made from Heaven #2930 Your Inner Being. It strikes me that this haiku sums up who Bernie is:
God said from your heart
Give Me away beloveds
All over the place

What a terrific show -- and what a great interview! Jennifer and I hold Bernie and his work in high esteem, as we do Gloria and the letters she so gracefully dictates from Heaven; but to hear the two of you together was truly a blessing and a treat. Great job to both of you!
Now I must add how interesting I found the topics that Spirit brought forth through these two wonderfully clear channels of Divine wisdom and communication -- and how timely and relevant! I have often encountered similar "resistance" to helping those programmed to believe they are random victims of chance, fate, or circumstance; and I too have felt the frustration of seeing people continue to suffer when their healing and the resolution to their problems is right there inside of them waiting to be unfolded. WHY!? Perhaps to teach me non-attachment to the journeys of other travelers on this path? I'm not sure; but it does seem the playing field is not level. There are commercial forces in this world who are not "minding their own business," and who are actively pulling at the lower natures of people -- good people who deserve a chance to find peace, love, and health. I've studied some of the methods they use -- such as NLP and Hypnosis -- to firmly and deeply cement their agendas into people's consciousness. It just doesn't seem fair. But, again, this is an opportunity for me to face more of my own judgments.
All I can say is, "Thank God (Who or Whatever that may mean to you)for people like Bernie and Gloria who serve as a beacon to those with eyes to see and ears to hear!" Nobody knows why such wonderful souls continue to broadcast their message of love and healing when nobody seems to be listening, or when nobody seems to care; but they do. And they do it with such clarity, and such profound love for humanity, that it has the capacity to burn through the toughest of shells, and light the darkest corners of even the most hardened hearts.
Keep shining your light, Gloria and Bernie; and keep broadcasting your messages of love, hope, and healing! We're listening.

I love the radio show. This was the first time I heard Bernie speak and am delighted with his attitude! Very fresh and enlivening.
So you contradicted the Kabbalah huh! I think that's exactly what the purpose of the Kabbalah (and some of the ancient yogic texts I read) is. That you use the guide and then throw it away.
Shiva, the creator of yoga shares the teaching and techniques of yoga. He goes on about the breath, asanas and meditation. Then as a summary, I understand Shiva to say that all these teachings are a hindrance and must be cast aside.

Wow@ That is amazing what Shiva said! That lets us off the hook! Of course, meanwhile, in our bodies, we have to be doing something anyway -- so better asanas than many other things we could be doing!

Just now I thought of something important that was conveyed on Bernie's and Al's show.
On both shows, especially in Bernie's, there was a strong message about the divine right of every being to have direct communication with God. I appreciate that very much. I've always believed that Heavenletters™ takes us to Godwriting™. In the practice of Godwriting the really deep healing and connection takes place.
Godwriting™ is a powerful process.
I can hardly wait to start focusing on Godwriting once all the outstanding tasks (technology and web related) with Heavenletters are complete.
I like the rhythm of Heavenletters and Godwriting. I sense a deep coherent rhythm to these projects, that I am enjoying dancing to with all of you that create it.
