Brainstorming
Mojah Media (Heaven Admin, Santhan) loved the idea of just taking a day off and spending it in joy with God, as God suggests in HEAVEN #2591 Just Being on Earth. http://www.heavenletters.org/node/7025 Santhan declared it a holiday! He called this new holiday Relax in God Day. I can feel myself relaxing just typing that.
The idea of new holidays reminds me of when I taught school and my classes would brainstorm. We would get into small groups of about five or six. Each group would chose someone to write down all the ideas that were yelled out. This was such a freeing thing, this brainstorming. It was delightfully unbounded.
Once we brainstormed about new imaginative holidays we could have. The one holiday I remember is Balloon Day. And now, sort of as an echo of those days, the idea of Relax in God Day comes up.
I would like to tell you more about brainstorming, as we did it.
It was so freeing, and yet there were four rules that made it so. These rules were important to the unboundedness. They are:
1. Go for the wild! We were looking for all kinds of ideas. Absolutely not practical ones! The wilder the better! The more impossible the better.
2. No negatives. No saying, “That wouldn’t work, I don’t like that idea,,

Black, dried up marker on a deserted island. Well, I suppose the ocean is nearby, so you can soak the tip in water and take off your shirt and write a big sos on it and wave it in the breeze so you could be rescued.
You sure have the idea! Creative, Jacqueline!
One thing, Jacqueline, in this brainstorming world of wild ideas, it is not even necessary for an ocean to be nearby!
(though, of course, all the deserted islands I know of have a palm tree and are surrounded by ocean!)
Dried-up black magic marker, only posession on a deserted island.
One use that comes to mind is: it's magic, is it not?, is to draw with it on the sand whatever you wish to manifest and bingo!, it manifests! You will have everything that you need to survive on that island or get off it.
Gloria, I love your account of brainstorming with your students and how they put their ideas into action with such rewarding results! For the students that must have been an unforgettable experience for life.
You must have been a wonderful teacher, I wish I had had you as a teacher! In my 12 or 13 years of school, I had only 2 teachers who brought lots of creativity into the classroom and learning became fun, effortless and permanent.
Love,
Xenia
Yes, Xenia, you too understand this assignment! Yes, the dried up magic marker can be a magic wand! We can use as a match to light up cigarettes, and it can be the cigarette too!
I wish I had had you as a student!
Of course, and then the cigarette can be used to light a signal fire, then since you have a fire, you could tie a palm frond on the marker to use as a fishing pole and dinner is solved!
Then you could all play dress-up--using the ashes from the fire to make "smoky" exotic eyes, dressing in grass skirts and dancing the hula. Oh yes, the marker--remove the tip and cut a few holes in it and VOILA! A flute!
Yes! Yes! Yes! Now we have food and music! Give us more!
