Connecting the Dots
Under the blog entry, My Brother Sid, Part 5, One (Santhan) commented:
The healing is in letting go. When we hold on, life experiences get tangled. There’s no clarity when life’s all knotted up.
Now that we have the understanding and that we accept; “There is no other

Yes, it can. And it is. But we must always remember that other people have also their free will.
Yes, I believe with all my heart that "our life experiences arise in order to get us to really really see" what it is we have to learn to move closer to Oneness. The second part that I believe must follow this is: ALL lessons are about letting go. When we let go, we are trusting. A third part involves the enormous energy and power of our thoughts. When your thoughts allow you to let go, you are moving closer to Divinity. When you let go, your thoughts become more Divinely inspired. The order of how this happens doesn't seem to matter. You win either way.
Very beautiful, Jo. And the three parts you mention are essentially the same, are they not?
I'm reminded of the many times I've read in Heavenletters that all our desires are really for God and that all life experiences are really signals - signals to remember Oneness.
For instance:
"If you feel lonely, that is an expression of your longing for Me. If you feel anxious, that is a stirring of your longing for Me. If you feel disconnected, that is a reminder of your longing for Me."
(Heaven #585, Your Destiny)
Gloria, I realize this is not exactly an answer to your question. Or maybe it is, I'm not sure.
I wonder: Do life experiences arise from thoughts held onto? Where do thoughts arise? When there are less thoughts, do we see more clearly?
Yep! life experiences are created be self. After 75 years I come to realize THAT. All creations come from thoughts? and where do thoughts come from? I do not know but could it be that before your birth you contracted to do such and such to learn and if you are off someone (higher self) put a thought into you as a reminder? Personally I do not care that much, I let things be and accept whatever comes. I am to lazy to start analysing everything. My brain at present is nowhere near GODS brain so I leave it up to God and accept with Love. Jack
Jack, I like your approach. I used to endlessly analyze everything searching for the truth, for the meaning of life and every event that occurred. It gets exhausting after years of vigilantly searching for the truth. Then one day I read this statement, "You don't have to search for the truth. The truth is searching for you". That statement felt like the truth to me. Now I don't search and analyze much. I feel that whatever I truly need to know will come to me.
I think we are all answering One's question, "When there are less thoughts, do we see more clearly?" Over-thinking and analyzing just take us away from where we need to be - Being in a state of receiving. Or to paraphrase Sally's words - letting the truth find us. Santhan, I believe that "thoughts held onto" often are part of what trap us in less loving patterns of behavior and thereby trigger less loving life experiences. Experiences, as Jochen so wisely says above, are "signals to remember Oneness." Yes, Jochen, Oneness, letting go and the power of our thoughts really are essentially the same.
Last night I watched American Idol. Randy, one of the judges, said something like this to one of the singers:
"It looks you're thinking, man. You're thinking about what you are going to do next and how you're going to sing it instead of just singing from your heart."
Reading your post, Jo, made me think of this.
God says it often enough: "Too much thinking."
Jack, you write about surrender.
Sally you as well!
Jo, I understand that "where we need to be", is our centre. May I add the words "incoherent" to thoughts. Incoherent thinking moves our awareness away from the centre. Thought is not all that bad. To think, all of existence is just a thought!
There is nothing sweeter than surrender. Complete surrender brings clarity.
