Dear Emilia
Dear Emilia, you wondered about how easy or hard it is to learn to Godwrite™. I love to answer that question. It is one of the loveliest questions in the world!
This is what you said:
I wonder if anyone can learn to Godwrite or if some specific talent is expected from the writer. ...my conclusion is that one must be especially talented!
The answer is: It's easy. It's soooo easy! Yes, anyone can do it.
God Himself has said that all it takes is the desire, the willingness, the sitting down with pen and paper. Then all you have to do is to receive! God says there is no getting dressed up for Him.
If someone were pouring down money from Heaven, what would you have to do but pick it up? Could it be easier? Godwriting™ is that easy. There is nothing to Godwriting. It is the easiest thing in the world.
Alas, we have been accustomed to complicating things, analyzing and having to do the very best. With Godwriting, all we have to do is to listen and write down. In Godwriting, we have to let go of the idea that the words that come have to be sensational. We have to just let go of our own ideas.
When I gave a Godwriting workshop in Romania, there were 125 people. I asked the question -- Monica Visan, the publisher -- translated:
Do you have to have "experiences" in order to Godwrite?
The beautiful sweet people who had been under a government that denied allegiance to God for fifty years nodded their heads sadly yes.
I roared:
NO!
I roared:
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
And wasn't that a relief!
I would like to give you a specific example.
Johanna was a web designer whom I knew. Johanna had no doubt that she could NOT Godwrite. SHE WAS SURE SHE COULD NOT! She was convinced of it. And to the very last moment in the workshop, she was certain that she could NOT Godwrite.
Here was her first Godwriting:
Johanna to God:
Dear God, why am I having so many problems in my personal relationships?
God said:
You are not having problems in your relationships. You are reaching out to encompass the world and, in that, losing the identities of those around you. They are as you of mind and body. Free as blossoms floating in air on wind.
Accept all occasions as waves or currents meeting in an ocean, touching and whispering to one another in certain directions but ultimately letting each take their own paths. Love is not lost. Feelings do not change. The heart loves. But as atoms move in the air so do all mankind.
Let me mention two more things, Emilia:
1. There is no one way Godwriting has to be. There are many styles of Godwriting, yet in all of them, God comes through. All Godwriting is not flowing and poetic like the Godwriting that comes through Johanna and me.
A.J. was a technical recruiter, very busy on the phone day and evening. On his way, driving over to a Godwriting workshop at my house, he told us that he had prayed:
"Please, God, do not make my Godwriting long and flowy like Gloria's."
A.J. had his prayer answered! The Godwriting that came through him was short. The simplest of words, nothing seemingly out of the ordinary, and yet it was remarkably powerful.
2. Talented experienced writers in the world have more to let go of than most of the people who come to workshops. They are not at an advantage. They have more to undo. They have to forget all that they have learned!

How I wish we could have a Godwriting workshop in Italy, and Paula and Berit and you would come!
Meanwhile, once the Oneness Journey starts, Heaven Admin and I will work on an online Godwriting workshop.
What else would you like to know about Godwriting?
Comments
Oh what a blessing this post is dear Gloria !!!
Johanna's Godwriting made me cry in one microsecond, oh how beautiful and deep !
Amazing too what the mind will try to tell us, I mean thinking she was absolutely not able to Godwrite.
I will gladly read the links you indicated. Oh my, a Godwriting workshop in Italy would be HEAVEN !!!!!!
Love you
Berit
This entry makes me aware of the fact that Godwriting is not in my consciousness at all. Seems I'm avoiding it. There are Heavenletters on Godwriting, occasionally some discussion on Godwriting, and I read all oft it, but I realize now that it is always gone the next moment as if wiped out. If I dare to even form the concept of attempting to godwrite myself, I'm scared stiff instantly and the next moment my brain goes blank, staying blank until the thought is completely erased. Feels like having to jump out of an airplane with just a "Good luck" and no parachute. No, worse than that. What a strange thing.
Blank is good!
Jochen, often your comments below Heavenletters and on this blog are like Godwriting.
I agree with Gloria, blank is very very good. It's like the canvas has been whitewashed and prepared. I heard that often painters paint even when they have no idea about what it is they are painting. They just splurge about without thinking, and let the painting take shape on it's own. A friend said that some of her most dear paintings came about like this.
Yes, it is easy because of the ease in which the Godwriting workshop facilitator expresses herself. She is a beautiful being... and of course I'm referring to Gloria whom I've now had the privilege of meeting personally.
Resonating with the energy of love and sharing is all it takes, and that can be translated to mean "desire" up-leveled to Passion.
With much love and gratitude to you, dear Gloria,
Carol
Godwriting does not take "skill." However, it does take doing it! And the more you do it, the more you will find it becomes such a necessary part of your life, because when you shift to the God awareness, the knowingness that We are Oneness, and just ask that Reality to write what you need for Now, and you read the words, and even go back and read them again months later, your confidence that you have really written God's words for YOU will grow and grow. Just DO it, have faith, and God will do the rest. I am so grateful for Gloria and it would be lovely if everyone could have a workshop with her, but even though Gloria can't be everywhere at once, God CAN!
Dearest Gloria,
thank you for your most precious answer. First I have to join Berit in telling you that if you could come in Italy it would be wonderful and I will certanly be on the front row at your workshop. May I dream of that? Like Jochen, I feel a kind of resistence in thinking of me godwriting and I do not know why. When a read your heavenletters for me is like being in the Sistin Chapel looking at Michelangelo frescos, it would not be the same looking at a copy printed on a book. I like the original. I suppose it is the same with heavenletters, if I can have the original why look for a bad copy? I know it doesn't make sense, but that is what my mind seems to tell me. I have tried sometime to put myself in a listening mood, but for a very short time and, I realize, without a true desire to do it and almost avoiding it. But how would I love to hear His Word! Beside, I wonder about the language. For me God speaks english, but it is not my mothertongue and even if I can understand it, it would be hard for me to express God's thought in a proper english. I imagine I could ask Him to speak in italian, although it sounds so strange. Another point is my mind interference. How can I avoid random thoughts that crowd my mind and distract me? In fact I have never been good at meditating, it is a misterious practice to me. But I suppose I have to void my mind in order to listen. It doesn't seem so easy!
Thank you Gloria for your caring
Love
All the people who comment give me more and more things to say!
Berit, isn't Johanna's response from God a response to all of us? Is there one of us who does not sometimes have angst with personal relationships?
Carol Maurer, you make an important point, and it's one I wouldn't have thought of. I will remember what you said here from now on. Excellent.
One, you are so right about so much of Jochen's writing -- yes, it feels like Godwriting. I suspect that many poets must be unconscious Godwriters.
I will go so far as to say that all of us, at one time or another, have been inspired by God in our writing, painting etc. Once we do start Godwriting and owning the name Godwriter, it doesn't feel unusual -- golden but not unusual, just ordinary yet...
Emilia, I understand what you are saying very well. Another day we can talk about Why to Godwrite.
Now, Carol Adler, what are we going to do with you! You persist in crediting me with what isn't for me to be credited with. Please excuse me for scolding you in public. I love you, dear one, yet let's get it straight: God comes to the Godwriting workshops. God makes it all happen. It's fun for me to be there and tell stories. The most I can do is hold the people who come in place, ready for God to step in.
Godwriting may be a new name for this kind of communication with God, but God has been around a long time, and people have been Godwriting forever.
A workshop is nice, but not essential. We can all play the music of God, yet there is only One Composer.
Love you all,
Gloria
Sorry for having to tell about a personal boring techical problem, but as you Gloria are so kind to ask, I will tell you. Santhan created for me, in order to overcome captcha validation and cookies, a personal account so that, as a registered member, I could post with no need for validation. For two or three times after my account was created I could post easily, I logged in taping my name and my password and the login was succesful. But since then, when I try to login, NOT from the main page, as One told, my login doesn't seem to be seccessful. My name appears to be among the users on the community page, but if I try to post on the forum I am warned that I must enable cookies for captcha validation and that my name belongs to a registered user that, of course I know it is me. I have tried to post with a different name, but I have always the same problem with cookies. Santhan sent me some instructions in order to enable cookies, I followed them, but I do not know what version of internet explorer I own and how can I discover it, so maybe they were not fitted for my program. Will you be so kind to forgive my ignorance on the entire topic? Thank you and sorry again.
What wonderful replies, indeed Heavenly replies !!
Just wanted to say that I totally join One, you already are Godwriting Jochen, but maybe right now, not with pen and paper but in other circumstances. AND, yes, blank is wonderful ! I think most people have problems with not getting enought "out of the way". You are such a blessing
Jochen and what you share is much appreciated and interesting.
Much much love
Berit
Oh, yes please! An online Godwriting class would be wonderful...I'll be looking forward to this, Gloria.
Emilia, I'm going to write an email to you and then create a small help/guide on the Heaven website, after I send out today's translations. I still have not found a way to avoid cookies. Maybe that's because I like cookies so much!
Gloria, we accept that God works through (and with) you in the creation of Heavenletters and I think we all are just so grateful that it is YOU who scribes these messages for us. Why did Vyasa choose Ganesha to be his scribe anyway! We are all Godwriters and we do appreciate a master scribe guiding us to our full potential as Godwriters. Clearly Heavenletters are proof in the pudding.
I understand that anyOne's sincere motion to Godwrite is what matters. It's not what comes out that's important, but the surrender that's sweet. So in a way, that surrender and receptiveness has more value, rather than what one produces.
Godwriting is when it gets even more interesting, just when you thought it couldn't get better!
I'm really liking the idea of a European workshop/tour. I think it may even be possible before the Oneness Journey. I'll do some calculations. I understand that the workshops should cover all costs.
Oceans of Love
Beloved Kate, where do you live?
Oceans of Love, when God blessed us with Heavenletters, he also seems to have blessed us with you. God may have even given you a stick to prod me with!
Senor, as I see it, there are full-time scribes and part-time scribes, no master scribes, no such title, I beg of you.
Love to all,
Gloria
Ok, got you on the master scribe thing. I understand now. Professional scribes? :p
Now to Emilia...(this is a copy of the email sent to Emilia, just in case anyone else is having the same difficulty with posting)
Dear Emilia,
I am certain the issue has to do with cookies and Internet Explorer 7. To find out which version of Internet Explorer you have, do this.
1) Open up Internet Explorer
2) Go to Help -> About Internet Explorer
Perhaps you would like to keep cookies switched off and allow cookies only for sites that you trust. Ok, so let's add www.heavenletters.org as a trusted site. This guide is for Internet Explorer 7, but the concept will be pretty similar in most browsers.
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) On the top menu go to, Tools -> Internet Options
3) In the new window that appears, click on the Privacy tab
3) Click the Sites button
5) Add http://www.heavenletters.org/ to the "Address of website" box and click "Allow"
Here is a visual guide: http://www.pcwindowstips.com/2007/09/04/how-to-enable-cookies-in-interne...
After doing this, try logging in at the Heavenletters website as usual. If you still have a problem (which I doubt) try clearing your cached files using the following guide: http://help.isu.edu/index.php?action=knowledgebase&catid=38&subcatid=64&...
Emilia, thank you for explaining your difficulty so clearly.
Dearest Gloria, when I read One's reply, I agreed wholeheartedly with his term master scribe. Not master as master over other people, master as one who has 'mastered' Godwriting. I must agree that that is you. You are comfortable with Godwriting and have made it a part of your life. You share your Godwriting with all of us, and you show others how to tap into their own God-given abilities to Godwrite. To me, as to One and many others, you certainly have 'mastered' this gift. You've received your Masters Degree of Godde Donkeyhood, now enjoy the title. Ooops. Godde just said I should have made that Doctorate. You are officially a Doctor of God Donkeyhood.
Beloved Pam, how you make me laugh! Yes, I qualify for Donkeyhood. I am advanced in Donkeyhood.
There is nothing to master in Godwriting. Therefore, no one is a master. There are master electricians and all, but not Godwriters. When it comes to Godwriting, we are all on equal footing. How long someone has been Godwriting, the quantity of Godwriting -- none of these make a difference. Each Godwriting is new. We all start equally.
God has told us not to be a rock star and not to make anyone into a rock star. And that includes the spiritual realm as well.
God is the leader here. God, no one else. There is no one to look to here except God.
Cults have someone looked up to at the top. We do not. We must not. We are grateful to all who read Heavenletters and grateful to all who Godwrite. There is no status here.
To God we are equal, and that's how it must be.
Excuse me, One, but regardless of cookies, I wonder why I am not recognized as a registered member though I am one of them. Because, if I just were recognized I could post without problems with cookies and you shoudn't find a way to eliminate them. Perhaps you could explain me in the personal email you will send. Thank you for your most needed help.
love
Beloved ONE,
if you "think with your stomach" you never solve the problem of cookies, but, attract more and more of them. Need some help ???????????
Beloved Berit, are you suggesting that you would help One out by sampling the cookies!
Beloved One, the directions you gave for Emilia and anyone else who might run into difficulties posting on the forum. -- much appreciated.
As for professional, nope! not professional either! Can't be. Godwriters don't have any status. Godwriters are simply Godwriters, and that's it!
Someone recently told me what professional really means. I think it was Pete Koerner. His definition was: someone who gets paid $'s for what they're doing.
Godwriting can only be done for love!
In this world, everything has a role. In nature one can often observe an order amongst creatures. When we look at migrating birds in V formation, there is a navigator that guides the rest of the flock. During a different leg of the migration journey, another member of the flock will take up position as the navigator. Roles are played and changed naturally. This is just one of many examples that exist in the animal society.
In more complex and evolved societies like humans, there are numerous titles and roles. Sometimes these titles and roles may not be so natural and sometimes they are perfectly natural.
Titles and roles maintain order. If titles and roles are not attached to and are used to serve life, then they do have a purpose. Titles and roles are all temporary (like this human life).
I want to have someone who is my Godwriting™ guide. If I'm having a go at Godwriting, I would like to have someone who will be able to provide guidance on what Godwriting is about. If this was my first introduction to the concept of Godwriting, I would ask, "Who is the teacher? Where can I learn more? Am I doing it correctly? Should I keep a dictionary close by to make sure my spelling is correct?" I would want to go to the person who started this way and find out more.
There is freedom and peace in natural order.
Beloved One, you always put everything in a beautiful universal perspective. You stretch my boundaries, Senor.
Here are my answers to your questions (which you already know the answers to and were not asking!)
Q. Who is the teacher? A. God is. Godwriting can be learned but not taught. It is natural to Godwrite.
Q. Where can I learn more? A. On the website and blog and through workshops. The workshops do provide a climate where it is safe and comfortable to Godwrite.
Q. Am I doing it correctly? A. There is no correct. Correct is opposed to Godwriting.
Q. Should I keep a dictionary close by to make sure my spelling is correct? A. Absolutely not. In fact, forget spelling. Don't even write on the lines.
Godwriting is so easy.
Thank you, One, for bringing all this out.
This entry was written in March 2009. In this entry there was something I wished for.
In September of this year, my wish is coming true!
