Did I coin a word?

The word is emotionality. I don't know if it's a real word or not. It's real for me.

Sometimes I sort of envy bookkeepers who do detail work.  They transfer numbers from one place to another.  They know when they're done, and they know when it's exactly right.

There is no wondering for them. Big numbers or little numbers, it's the same to them. It's almost like doing a crossword puzzle. It's right, or it isn't.

It seems to me that bookkeepers do not have to deal with emotionality. How easy that is. Not that I would ever want to actually be a bookkeeper. And not that I would ever want to be doing anything but what I am right now. I know how privileged I am, and I never stop marveling over it.

Yet, unlike bookkeepers, I deal with emotionality constantly. The forum, the blog, Godwriting workshops,  essential correspondence, weighing things, finding the right words,  even finding a right title for a Heavenletter seem to require emotionality from me. Or, maybe I require it of myself.

Every day gives dozens of happiness-providing events. Two exceptionally wonderful things happened a couple of days ago, so I had extra happy emotionality, but emotionality nevertheless. The same day, I had to say no to three people. That isn't easy for me nor is it easy for them.

It must be that I am trying to say I am involved in matters that are not cut and dried, and I am subjectively involved.

Hmmm, I wonder when I will have equanimity instead of emotionality.

P.S. Emotionality must be a real word because Microsoft is not underlining the word in squiggly red!

You will know that equanimity is yours (or close) when you start getting the urge to add up columns of numbers (which can be a little disquieting at first).

And oh, how many emot- things there are:

Hi All. Back from a New Zealand Holyday and New Zealand is beautiful and so are the people there. i saw people swimming with Dolphins, (to cold for me I am a whoosh) The scenery is awe inspiring and sometimes scary when driving half a meter from a ravine. You can ski in New Zealand in your bekinis and end up in a hot poolat the end of the run. Snowimg outside and bathing in a thermal pool. Water falls that do not reach botom as the wind blows it back up. We were booked on a helicopter flight to go to some glaciers but the weather stopped the flights that day so we walked to a clacier took some photo's adn 2 hours later all was closed up due to rockfalls. Once the photos are sorted out I see if I can send some. when booking a tour to N.Zealand be careful there are better ways to see than we did and a lot cheaper if you want to see Gods beatiful creations let me know and I will give you some tips that we could have done with. But whitch ever way it is worth it till next time as I am getting to emotional now Love you ALL Jack

Welcome back, beloved Jack!

How happy we are that you and Meike had the opportunity to visit New Zealand. I wish we all could have gone with you!

We sure missed you.

With love and blessings,

Gloria

Yay! Jack's back and he's got photos.

Jack, New Zealand and Tazmania are places I would like to explore one day. Maybe your photos will confirm why. Good to have you back :)

Skiing in bikinis and thermal pools!
