God Has Found Me Out
The Heavenletter Have More Confidence in God goes deep. I don't know how to do less and still get things done. I run a race to keep up, and I barely keep my head above water. It must be that I think the world is dependent upon me. Would the sun not rise in the morning if I didn't do everything I think I must?
A friend emailed me this morning: "You are NOT in a hurry. You HAVE Time. You do not have to do anything immediately. You do not have to hide behind your hurryingness. You do not have to do anything at all - because you are Master of All."
Alas, I only know to hustle.
I remember once I had a Thanksgiving dinner for twenty-five people. In the midst of this, My mother in law, who was sitting down, said to me: "Sit down and take it easy."
Yeah, sure, sit down, don't do anything, but how? How, in God's name, how!
I am still asking myself the same question -- how?

I'm not a person who likes to be hurried and I believe that when you go at your own pace the Universe accommodates that pace and you flow better with life.
Some people of course need to get going more, others less so. It's called balance.
If you are hurried and enjoy it, what's wrong with that? Being on the go, happily busy, can be fun, unless you decide it isn't.
If you want less hurriedness, experiment with less of it and see what happens. Take the proverbial baby steps and go from there.
Otherwise, enjoy the ride! Or, ask or write God what to do, and then take that advice.
Hi Gloria and Marko. For the most part, I go at my own pace too. I am out of tune with the hurry pace of the world. I take gentle steps too....not great strides. And I really don't listen much to the world anymore. What a relief. To listen to the gentle promptings in my heart is where I always wanted to be...and am now. Love and blessings, Jim.
Alas Senora, I am afflicted with the same condition! Recently there came this spark of hope for a cure this condition.
I began to wonder along the same stream of thought as you. "What would happen to the world if I was not here?" I kept hearing the same answer. "It would go on as it is now."

Easy, you are enjoying yourself, so keep going! Time is an illusion, you know this. So create more time if you need it. You are doing a job for God that many NEED, so as you said yourself before, be grateful for your capabilities.
