God would like to meet you

This is in regard to yesterday's posted blog entry, Is It Oneness or Not,  in which I posted an email I had received from a sincere caring Heavenreader who had some questions about the nature of God.

The Heavenreader had written:

"How can it be (or is it) that our true nature is this infinite void, or no-thing. A stillness and presence without any inherent emotion or Love. And yet, we so often characterize this stillness, this voice…as God."

Dear Friend, I believe we are all equal in our pursuit of God Himself (or Herself) and we share a deep wanting to understand God, this Stillness and Presence you so beautifully say.

There do not seem to be words for God. We cannot define God Who is infinite.

God is beyond emotion, and don't we wish we were! God doesn't fear or dislike etc. Emotions are small things that wear us out.  From our humanness, we react.  We supply all the emotion.

God does not bounce off events as we do.  What is God going to react to? God is Eternal Love.  And God in Heavenletters™ tells us that we, too, who are made in His image, are love and nothing but love.

We are onto something when we characterize this Stillness and Voice as God. On some level, we must know this is true.

And then you heard:

"God would like to meet you."

Oh, that's so wonderful. I love those words. May we all hear them.

And then you, the writer,  say:

"I am confused: if we are all ONE infinite being/awareness, how can we call it God, as though it were separate... Help!!!"

God in Heavenletters tells us that it is good to be confused! It is far better to be confused than to think we know all the answers!

Of course, you are right. God says we are One, not two. In Truth, there is no separation. The words You and I -- and even you and I -- are conventions.  In this world we live in, how could we get along without them? How could Heavenletters be done without those words? How would a new reader get in? How could we make sense of Heavenletters? Do you (myself) know what I mean?

Then I (this imaginary I) say to you (who art really myself), how can we NOT call this ONE infinite Beingness God?!!! -- or Dieu or Allah or by whatever name we are accustomed to calling this Presence?

Now to my confession! Months ago, I had popped the email I posted yesterday into a holding place for this blog.  As I have been reminded, the dear Heavenreader had posted his question, and many had responded! Apologies. But, of course, I like to think it has been worthwhile for us to look at these questions again, and there are no mistakes!

Will someone provide the link to the earlier discussion on the forum?

You tell the majority that and I would end up in the Luny Bin(phychiatric ward) but still the oneness I feel with our little dog with my wife etc. how can you disscripe feelings? I do not know, ask our wordsmith Gloria I only know myself and am happy with it all in spite of the world thinking differend Love you all Jack

I get you Jack. It's like how can one ray of the sun say to the other ray, "What's up Ray?" except in play.
