God’s Charm

For a long time, Heaven’s good friend Bernie Siegel has pointed out that the last paragraph of a Heavenletter seems to contain the main point of the Heavenletter. Bernie likes to get right down to business. As a busy surgeon, naturally, he had to get to the point.

I love the rhythm and the way God weaves a Heavenletter. I love every nuance. You might say I get caught up in God’s charm. It may even be that for me, it isn’t so much what God says as it is that He is saying something and saying it to us.

Heaven’s archivist, Annette, has been adding Heavenletter after Heavenletter to the archives, and I receive a notice with just the first few sentences of each Heavenletter she posts.

I’ve got to tell you that the first paragraphs have been doing a number on me. They are BEAUTIFUL! I think having only the beginning to read makes me pay attention. I seem to be compelled to read a Heavenletter quickly and read it several times rather than once thoughtfully, and, so, I may usually dash through the opening sentences of Heavenletters just the way I seem to dash through life.

For this blog entry, I am slowing down and picking out a few beginnings. They strike me powerfully as I see them standing on their own. I wonder if they will strike you as powerfully as they strike me.

Today I would like to say to you that all is well, even though you are tired of hearing that while you see otherwise. Isn't it bizarre that you would be tired of hearing that all is well? It must be that you don't believe it. If you believed it, you wouldn't find it tiresome. You would find it welcome. You would not be able to hear it said enough: All is well. All is well.

Holy Child, be My holiness. Be My wholeness. Be Mine. Choose Me. Choose to be My beloved. Decide that you are My beloved with all the blessings that accrue. I say you are My beloved son or beloved daughter. I say you are My beloved. Is there something to debate? Would you rather prove that you are not My beloved or that you are? You are. You are. We are. I AM. You are. You are. We are wedded in bliss. We are wedded in a union so sweet it has lasted since the beginninglessness of Eternity.

All My love, all My words, all My Heavenletters are for you. They exist because of My adoration for you. For the sake of Our communion, I use the words thou and I. Of course, they are interchangeable, but that is another topic. Today I point to My words of love that are to stir your heart. Your heart is meant to be stirred. The swizzle stick is love. It is with love that I stir your heart.

I am a most wondrous God, and I do wonders make. You are one of them. It is a miracle that you, made of wonder, are unaware of the wondrousness that you are. How could one such as you be created and yet you not recognize the gold you are made of? How can that be? It is a miracle of sorts. It is perfectly inexplicable. Even I don't understand it. You, made of My light, stand in My light, and, even so, you look for a lamp to turn on.

Not only is all abundance coming to you, circling around you, ready to land, ready to alight in your heart and mind, you are abundance. You are abundance. You are My abundance that I gave to the world that seeks abundance. The world is seeking you. It may not know that. You may not know that. But you are the light the world craves. You are the light you crave.

As you become more accustomed to receiving love, more of it appears.    http://www.heavenletters.org/an-infinity-of-love.html

Do you see what I mean?

Senora, I sometimes just read the title and am completely satisfied!

Indeed I see what you mean, these "few" lines really took my breath away, my God, you did it again, melt my heart and being right here and now !
I too have thought sometimes that the end of a Heavenletter says it all, but then also the beginning says it all and so ... we are free to get hopelessly lost in God's love whenever we prefer :-))
The second Heavenletter here is really most wonderful and breathtaking !! Thank you for this amazing posting dear Gloria.
much love to all here !
Berit

SIGH. So beautiful ... the first (or last) paragraphs would make a wonderful book. Love right back at you, Berit, and to everyone here.

Yet I am attached to the whole Heavenletter, all its twists and turns and sometimes surprises and humor. God has me under His spell -- and you, too, I suspect. If we took out the middle section of Heavenletters, wouldn't there be something of an uprising?!!!

You bet! No "Best of", please. It's the whole Heavenletter that makes the song, the music. Some come rushing like a whirlwind, some pick up momentum slowly to end in a powerful crescendo, even, in some cases, getting happily outrageous there -- "And so you fly through the air...." There are all kinds of dynamics (and, as you pointed out, styles of reading). Nevertheless, the titles are very often taken from the last paragraph.
