Great MInds Think Alike

Synchronicity seems to be coming in more and more. I am, frankly, blown away.

Yesterday morning on the forum, Jim posted a comment that bears an uncanny resemblance to the gist of yesterday's blog entry, The Power of the Mind, about the freedom and independence of thinking for ourselves.  Jim had not seen my entry when he wrote his delightful piece, nor had I seen his. Independently of each other, we addressed the same issue.

Here's Jim's delightful entry, entitled I Am Not a Sheeple!

I am not a sheeple. (Sheeple are people who do not think or feel for themselves because they are too busy following and copying other people) ... therefore they are sheeple. I am not condemning sheeple...I want to be clear about this. I am rather just making a point, a distinction. I do have great compassion for all people, whether they are sheeple or not.

I was once very much a sheeple...now, thankfully I am not. I listen to my own guidance, own council, own intuition...that's just the way it is. And the messages and council I receive lately have less and less to do with the personal Jim that I once perceived myself to be.,,,and more and more to do with staying as focused and present and happy and Loving as I can be. This is my job! and I love my job! Why am I telling you this? Honestly? Because I feel I have real friends here on this site and honestly...where else would I share something like this? And why else am I sharing this? I have no idea...except that I am guided to. And ps...if you think you have sheeple tendencies, you are not alone...we all do! But getting out of denial is the first step to recovery and the ultimate step to claim freedom and independence is loving oneself...completely...just as you are!! Loving you always, Jim.

Doesn't that make you smile?

Jacqueline and I were walking yesterday evening and I told her about yesterday's blog that she hadn't seen yet, and I told her about Jim's comment on the forum, and she turned to me and said:

"I've been thinking that way too!"

And this morning Jack Van Raders' blog comment under The Power of the Mind  strongly supports this theme and also leaves us smiling:

Oh Yes, Gloria Dear, I have too. Tried this, tried that, not anymore. Why will I have to be slimmer? I feel fine! Mieke Loves me and that is all that matters!!! I feel a stitch in my shoulder when driving, Why GOD? and when I think of GOD the stitch goes away, better than aspirin!!and cheaper. I find that whenever my thoughts are God-orientated no pain or discomfort will come near me. I feel fine. Love to you All. Jack

Regarding the power of the Mind and Great Minds think alike,fFirst it's very wise/crucial/important to become critical independent thinkers. This teaching should be mandatory in all schools.

In doing so some kids may surpass the teacher in certain respects of generating newer better ideas. The teacher should be happy that this happens and how fortuitous, auspicious and propitious this is.

It takes a good teacher and a good measure of self self worth to allow this to happen.

Thus in my metaphysical ontological viewpoint, the World is quite broken and dysfunctional with regard to having good self worth. We have a very large self worth and self esteem problem with the collective World.

We often (not always) air brush and sprinkle pink fairy dust to cover uP the larger problems that need attention. Even when the larger truth is voiced, it gets smothered in the cotton candy fields of media drama that forsakes reality for drama that is very non beneficial to us.

For me: Self worth is that inner child or part of us that critical comments can't harm and we feel good about ourselves regardless of outward World circumstances. Or, what others say about us. This is also felt on a conscious level. Self esteem as I define it, is more surface oriented.

You get a raise, you give a great talk, win an award or contest. You get a nice bump of self esteem and that's great. Yet self worth is the deeper part that is solid and less shaky. Self esteem can go uP and down. Self Worth is more stable part of ourselves that has matured and deep rooted itself. Yet, good Self Worth and Self Esteem do go together, I just tend to make a distinction.

Now good self worth is not so arrogant that it takes only its own opinions as right at all times. A pilot on a small single engine plane should not pilot the space shuttle. They know the practical difference of letting those with knowledge and experience do their job. Yet we are always wise to listen to our feelings and act from our current highest right.

It's all in the mind or Mind. Our ability to demonstrate that it is all in the mind/Mind is still quite elementary.

We still live in a primitive World that yet understands on a rudimentary level that we create our own reality personal and collective.

So drugs and such can help us to still move about in the World as we try and figure that out. But we have a long way to go.

So as great minds/Minds think alike I hope and choose that as a whole planet, we are moving more towards owning uP to our problems rather than hiding them through airbrushing them with slick bandages pasted over a truth that needs to be revealed and dealt with.

That we take responsibility for creating our own reality and thus knowing that we will. out of self interest create the World we truly desire.

I think the people like the Heavenletters people and numerous spiritual, environmental, organic food groups, conscious capitalists, etc. are the like minded individuals and groups that are the cutting edge grass roots organizations that are seeding and allowing the seeds of our future to grow and flourish in our garden of tomorrow that's slowly growing today.

Let's keep nursing the garden and instead of airbrushing the weeds to make them look better when they aren't, we weed them out compost them back into the land of not only our earth but our minds as well.
