How I Know There is God

This title probably sounds like this entry is going to be pontific, like I'll be giving a sermon -- but this isn't going to be like that at all. This is not going to be profound. It is, rather, going to be very obvious.

1. I know there is a God because where else can Heavenletters be coming from?

2. I have not been, for the most part, what you would call a disciplined person. Of my own accord, it is unlikely that I would or could rush out of bed every morning to sit down to type out a Heavenletter, or even this blog.

3. If there were not a God, how on Earth would a new Heavenletter appear every day, and sometimes two, or even sometimes three?

4. If God did not exist, why would He be such a topic of conversation?

5. If God were not, how could we have Being?

6. I know God exists because there are babies and puppies and kittens.

7.  I know God exists because ---

Can you finish this last sentence for me?I got stuck.

I don't want to come off saying: "Because He does, " or: "Because I just know," yet that seems to be as far as I can get.

I know God exists in the Beauty I see, which must be the splendor of Truth; I know God exists in the vasteness I feel within.

7. I know God exists because — He "refuses" to be found by any of the means I have ever thought of or might think of in several more millennia.

I know God exists because We exist.
