How My Mind Works

beans n birds

When you look at the photo above, you probably see six green beans in a line on a cutting board, ready to have their stems chopped off. Is this what you see?

What I saw was a line of birds on a telephone wire. I was not looking to see anything but green beans, yet I saw what I saw.

When I cut cucumbers, the sound I hear is that of birds' chirping.

All my thoughts are not about birds. However, I do seem to experience life in sound and/or in pictures. I think dogs think in pictures, too.

For me to see the number 10 or 15 indicating how many new subscribers arrived today doesn't mean much to me. But when when I see a list of the names of new subscribers going down vertically -- taking up ten or fifteen lines -- I feel it, and my heart is thrilled. Maybe I am like a primitive whose counting is pointing to or touching the objects he wants to include.

My daughter has said more than once that I think like a two-year old. For instance, she says I can't give a synopsis of anything, that I have to go round and round in my telling, not leaving out one single thing. She says it takes me longer to tell about a movie or a book than it takes to watch the movie or read the book. I do, on occasion, notice that when I'm describing something, the eyes of the people I'm talking to glaze over.

I also do give great credit to not thinking at all!

Some of the good things in my life have come about because I didn't know what I was doing. I just went and did without any idea of what could be involved or where something might lead. Like Heavenletters™ , for instance.

Then I have the experience of thinking of a great idea, like a topic to write about in this blog. Then I rush to open up the site, and, when I get here, the great idea has flown away, and I have to think of something else quickly to write about instead. Like today.

Without at least a clearly visible wire, I would never make it that far (even though birds are my favorite beasts).

But as far as the rest is concerned -- simply enviable!

OH green beans! I saw skinny candles waiting to have their wicks trimmed. Like Jochen, without something to represent the wire, I wouldn't have made the connection to birds on a wire. (Also never heard birds chirping when chopping cucumbers.) No wonder you were so perfect for Godwriting. You have the "childlike" way of being, are open to following spirit and already think in the language Godde speaks (images, colors, sounds, feelings).

Beloved Jochen and Pam,

Well, I didn't really see the wire. It was just as if the birds were sitting on a wire.

You two break me up!

Jochen, I envy you your clear working knowledge of the world and your generosity and kindness to all regardless of what their vision of the world is.

Pam, of course candle wicks! That is brilliant! I do see the candle wicks on the green beans!

If you listen carefully, the next time you cut cucumbers, you will hear the chirping of birds.

I definitely see the birds and they are displaying their personalities as well. A couple have their noses stuck way up in the air and the two bringing up the rear are gossiping about them. They look like they are too tall to be perched on a wire, though. They look like they are walking through high marsh grass to me. What a wonderful compliment to be told that you think like a two-year-old whose mind is so often full of wonder! Experiencing this world in sound and pictures is delightful. You Go, Girl!

Sorry, Beans it is, birds sit in my banana trees and eat my bananas before they ripen. Birds eat my bushtucker unripe. but they are beautiful and so are beans.
Gloria I do not know how I got here. I clicked on F5 nothing F6 nothing impatient and I do not know if it was F7, 8, 9, or whatever but the beans came up.If I go to www.godwriting.org I get
that is the gibberish I get do you know what it means.
I am sure it does not mean beautiful beans nor birds on a wire I really wonder what you make out of it. Love Jack

Santhan will get it all fixed for you, dear one.

Gloria.....what a wonderful share....yes I could be in
a wonderful conversation with God....and where you wouldn't
imagine..." Taking a shower" and the most rational, logic
of truths would be offered as answers to what ever I may
have thought that was in the privacy of my mind...and there comes God gently correcting the actions that I may have served, whether in anger or impulsively...and that moment yes....soap and all I want to rush and note it down
as its the most beautiful way, applicable to use the next time around in any given situation...yes in towel and nothing...slate cleaned...well to recall exactly what was being advised is like trying to find a needle in the hay stack. Then again our lessons are ours whats for the sharing flows for that significant purpose...
