Joyce's Godwriting

How easy it is to Godwrite™. And how clearly God says what we need to hear. And how we ask God for it! God, as we know God, is a straight-shooter.

One of the wonderful things about Godwriting™ in a group is that everyone reads his or her Godwriting out loud, and everyone's Godwriting speaks to us all. Everyone's Godwriting is meant for us all, and what God says to one Godwriter™, He is saying to everyone, and, just by listening with our hearts, we regain a sense of peace.

Joyce, thank you so much for sharing your Godwriting:

Joyce's Godwriting

Joyce to God: Dear God, tell me more about my heart. There must be other rooms in it [besides the art room.]

God to Joyce:

Yes, many. You explored some already.  Only the ones that were warm and glowing.  Are you interested in exploring the others?

Joyce to God:  I've got to say that I would hedge my answer.  Let me put it this way, what do I have to fear?

God to Joyce:

Nothing.

In the darkness I am

In the pain I am

In the fear I am

In the meaness and all things that humans can say and do, there am I, for Who can help with forgiveness?

Joyce to God:  Even when it seems to me that I forgive, I find later that I still have kept some resentment.

God to Joyce:

I know. And you know that when that happens you can come to Me, and you have. This is good. This is healing. Do you not feel the healing? Believe it is true.

Joyce to God: So what are the darknesses of the heart?

God said:

It is keeping to one's self.  It is taking revenge into your own hands. It is gossip.  These things hide in the darkness and cause sores. They need not continue.

And now, I, Gloria,  thank you, Joyce, for sharing your heart and your Godwriting with us all.

Beloved Joyce, a whole bunch of quotations from your Godwriting went up on Twitter. Can you find Heavenscribe on Twitter? That's where posts from this blog go up.

This is so interesting and heartfelt. Lovely.

I love it when God is simple with his words. SIMPLE. He responds just the right way for the right person. He knows what is necessary to say.
