Krishna

There is a lovely little book called The Heart of a Gopi. It was written over fifty years ago by a man in India named Raihana Tyabji.  This book was inspired writing. Not exactly Godwriting, but inspired nevertheless. The story revealed itself to the author as he wrote along.

Gopis are milkmaids, special milkmaids who lived in Brindiban when Krishna did. Krishna was a personification of God, and Gopis were milkmaids who loved Krishna. The Gopis did not have great knowledge and learning. They were simple and innocent like children, and so it was easy for them to love Krishna when more sophisticated people may not have been able to give their hearts so completely.

Near the end of the book, Krishna gives three lessons. It was thrilling to me to see how the three lessons parallel what God teaches us!

1. There is no mine and thine in Brindiban.

2. We surrender even our pride in knowledge.

3. All is illusion except for God.

In Heavenletters, God uses different words but says the same.

1. No one owns anything. We have to let go of attachment.

2. Listen to the heart over mind. Sometimes our mind is just too smart!

3. The world we live in is illusion. Oneness is true. God alone is.

More and more I see the messages of Heaventletters in more places. Yesterday, the Bible. Today in The Heart of a Gopi.

Tomorrow I'll recount a story that emphasizes the second point that Krishna makes.

Angel Gloria, it is truly thrilling that these messages can be found in so many places, heard in so many voices, in so many forms. All we have to do is notice. What changes in world hope there would be if every one of us noticed how many people DO believe these messages, and live their lives in accordance. Heavenlettters is right there in the thick of it! I find myself wondering how we can get this Light-filled snowball rolling faster and further.

Gloria I also am amazed at how universal Truth is! It's unifying and inclusive. Everything is embraced in Truth's outstretched arms.

Jo, it feels like the ones who are playing a major part in this global change were taking a "time out" to go deeper in. Now we're getting to that stage where there will be more opportunities for unified action amongst those who long for Heaven on Earth. So hold on! The Light-filled snowball is rolling :)

Thank you Gloria, our Angel Teacher. There are so many beautiful lessons to learn everyday and everywhere. I love the stories bout Krishna although I can not always understand them. Like why did Arjonno (How to spell his Name) have to go and slay his Family.??? At God's convenient time it will be explained!! The Indigo Children are not new Krishna was Indigo so is Sai Baba if he feels like it. Please keep the stories coming i find a lesson in Each but then I have still a lot to Learn Love to ALL Jack
