Miscellaneous thoughts arise
1. God made us full of holes, pores and all that, and, yet, He made us holy. How can two words that sound so much alike in English have such different meanings. Maybe not. Holes are like gaps. Thank goodness for all the pauses. Thank goodness for the gaps between our thoughts. Thank goodness for the interim of sleep at night, what would we do without it? Thank goodness for the fullness of emptiness that leads us higher.
I suspect that English is the only language where hole and holy sound so much alike.
Why did this thought occur to me? I have no idea.
2. I have been thinking what a beautiful thing it is to ask a question of God. I mean a question where your whole heart is in it. Just writing down a question to God opens our hearts, and sometimes then, the necessary question is no longer necessary. Sooner or later, all our questions fade, and we wonder why we ever had them.
3. The other morning a Heavenletter came that was beyond my understanding. This is when writing down God's words takes a leap of trust. It is blind trust. I wouldn't call it a leap of faith. Of course, God has said we don't have to understand what He is saying in order to reap the benefit.
4. Somewhere along the line I learned that odd numbers are good, so now I am adding a fifth point. I remember learning parallelism in writing. In writing, three points are better than two or four. In writing, three has more power. So this thought I'm writing down now makes five. Five has more strength than four.
Of course, One is very good too!

Hole, Whole and Holy.
This phenomenon happens in many languages. We call that homonymy. But I would tend to go more on your side than on the linguistic side. Because the scientific "linguistic" explanation always miss something of a deeper reality: the spirit.
For me holy and wholly are more than homonyms. What is wholly must be holy and vice-versa. In fact, they come from the same indo-european root ("kailo). As for "hole" and "holy", we need an intermediary step. Holy is related to whole, health, heal, holiday, hallow, even Halloween. Hole is related to holster, apocalypse and eucalyptus, hollow, clandestine, helm (idea of covering), seel, supercilium, conceal.
Pick up your choice "à la carte", dear one, there is no set menu.
Good grief! This is bigger than I thought!
