More love and wisdom from God in personal Godwriting

These are excerpts from my recent personal Godwriting:

Gloria to God: It is wonderful, so wonderful to be with You. Where have I been all my life?

God: This is good, Gloria. Someone might ask: “God, where have You been all my life?” Of course, I have been where I always am. You could have been staring right at Me and not seen. You wanted a red-caped Superman God Who would whisk you away. It is good to stop waiting for Me. How can you wait for Me anyway when I am already there. Now, Gloria, you are catching up. Where have you been all your life? You have been with Me, only you were absent, so to speak. Good going, Gloria.

Gloria to God: Beloved God, what is Your main advice for me today?

God: Know Me.

Gloria: Do You mean to think of You during the day?

God: How about this -- come check in on Me during the day. Will you try this? Come back here and let your fingers type to Me and your heart resound with Mine. Will you try it?

Gloria: Of course, I will. I can see how, as it has been, I write to You personally in the morning, and then it’s kind of like it’s over and I put You aside.

God: Now make Me foremost.

God: Time is dissolving, isn’t it, Gloria?

Gloria: Yes.

God: Time becomes distance for you -- Santhan, away in San Francisco, becomes a memory. Your Daddy you write about on the blog is a memory. Right now Santhan and your father are in the same place in your mind and heart. The difference is that Santhan will come back to you on Earth Friday, and you two will pick up where you left off. It is something of the same when you reunite with your father, except you won’t exactly pick up where you left off. There will have been no leaving off. You will know you are in a continuum. You will know there is no time. There never was a time when you and your father were not, or you and Santhan were not. There never was a time when We were not.

Gloria: So time is imagined. It only seems long. Or short. And memories. What ARE they.

God: They are thoughts. Recollected thoughts. One could remember something that didn’t happen, and it would assign itself to be a memory just the same. Actual and imagined memories are the same in that they are simply thoughts. You have recurrent memories, and each time the memory gets tacked in more. Some memories are pictures. You can see herself in the dining room with your father even though you were not seeing yourself at the time. You know which side of the table you and your father sat on. You remember where all the windows were, the table, the chairs, your climbing up on the chairs. You see this remembered scene before you, and you feel the feelings. You are conceptualizing a scene. It happened, and yet you are conceptualizing it just the same.

Oy. God makes it clear that the past is all in the mind. How wonderfully new and enlivening that makes this moment.
