Moving again

I seem to be a vagabond these days.

It's hard to leave this beautiful haven. It is irreplaceable in its beauty, silence, Paul, his piano-playing, Greg and Bruce's friendliness and the easy-going ambience here. I will miss Walmart's, Dollar General, and Hy-Vee that are right across the street!

I am moving to an opposite place. Not unique at all. It is an apartment house of about fifty units,  all alike. No character really. No high ceilings, but I am on the first floor, and I will have trees outside my window, and I will be able to keep Mikey-Trikey inside, and the apartment is closer to the post office, library, Everybody's Whole Foods store, and Marie's co-op where I am privileged to find raw goat milk and Kombucha and always a new delightful surprise.

And, I will have my own kitchen!

I wonder if we do anything for the reasons we think. It could be just that I'm finished here and where I'm moving to is just where I am supposed to be -- until I'm supposed to be somewhere else.

We're talking about Monday, November 1, possibly the Saturday and Sunday before, not sure yet. Cross your fingers that reconnecting to the internet goes smoothly.
