My Brother Ali from Iran
There is so much in my present life that never could have been imagined. Who could have imagined Heavenletters? Who could have dreamed of all of the dear Heavenreaders and the translators and other volunteer angels and Heaven Admin and this blog and all who post! Sometimes I think I have been enchanted.
It is like my life has been cut in two. There is the life I lived before Heavenletters and my life since. What a turn-around.
Sometimes I wonder how hearts can meet so dearly over the internet.
Among you is beloved Ali from Iran. Ali started reading Heavenletters in 2005. He just recently posted a magnificent story on the Heaven forum.

The story he posted will give you a sense of Ali.
Ali is a family man. His wife and children, and his parents are ever-present in his life. Beautiful close family. Each caring for each other the way it is in books. Such a sense of family. Over the airways I can feel the love each member of his family holds for one another.
Ali is very much like a soldier, strong, masculine. At the same time he has the gentleness of a poet. It is like he speaks in poetry from his heart. He expresses gratitude right and left.
He is also truly spiritual. And religious. He faces the east five times a day and prays.
What if we all thought of God five times a day? I wonder if this could be another way to bring peace to the world. I wish that the United States and Iran could be like Ali and me and just be friends.
Ali had worked hard at getting his post on the forum up with photos. I asked Kirt if he could help us. Suddenly Ali's pictures were up, and Ali thanked Kirt publicly and privately.
In response, I wrote back to Ali:
"There is something in the Bible, Ali, that says something like: 'One came back to say thank you.'"
Ali, in his humble wisdom, wrote back:
"There is a saying from our holy Imams: 'Anyone not thanking creatures, has not thanked the Creator.'"
And so Ali reminds me to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your presence here.

Very beautiful post Gloria.
Love is all about gratefulness. Each breath is a Grace.
Many thanks to you for sharing so much beauty and also here to Ali.
We read that Facebook is currently censored in his beautiful country.
Let's hope and pray it will be available for everyone soon again.
Blessings from HK, AM
Thank you, beloved Anne Marie from Hong Kong! Very nice message of yours!
I remembered one thing I could have added to this entry, so I'll add it now.
In the entry called Windows of Love, Carolyne wrote:
"...life can be a bit weary and if someone blesses us we should let that person know."
And I am also reminded of Desert Rose's story about her incredible landlord who showed us how to bless a person we are angry with. The link to this story is:
