Gloria to God:

Dear God, what does it mean to look into someone eyes and see You? I understand the concept, but what is it really?

God said:

It means seeing what you are. It means seeing with love. It is deeper than your eyes that you see with. It is the eyes of your heart. One simple soul sees another simple soul. You see the person without the debris they carry, and you let go of your own debris. We can call the debris the past. You don’t see the junk that a person carries. You see clearly. You don’t see what is not worth seeing. You see what is worth seeing. That’s it. Of course, this does not happen by effort of your will. Desire and intention show awareness, yet desire and intention are not the whole story. There are not steps really. Clear sight is not something you do.

Gloria: What is the whole story? Is it a gift from You?

God said:

Everything is a gift from Me.

As you can imagine, I love everything God says, whether I understand it or not. I forget what it exactly was that I was asking, but I said:

Oh, God, what does it mean?

God answered:

And, Gloria, what does it not mean?
