Here’s Helena, the capital of Montana – and a cabin that you can only lie down in. It’s probably 4’ tall at its highest point. Seems to have been abandoned.

Butte, Montana – old mining town. I really felt the vibration of the Old West in Montana

Chico Hot Springs right near Pray, Montana. I’m standing in front of the Spa. Did you ever sink into the heat of a hot spring? Definitely healing. And this spa has superb food and hospitality. The front desk is called The Desk of First Impressions.

Now here are photos taken at Yellowstone Park. We went to an altitude of 11,000 feet. We also were in the 45th parallel which is the exact center between North and South Poles. I hope I have my facts straight. This isn’t snow you see. Notice a geyser bubbling in the back of the photo:

Just for the record, Carol Maurer was the main photographer. She also introduced me to an open source program called Picasa which makes editing and storing photos a dream! www.picasa.com

Credit for posting photos goes to Santhan of www.mojahmedia.net! I tried, I really did try, and once in a while I made it work, never quite caught on to how to do it, succeeded only by chance after many tries, and Santhan did the gentlemanly thing and came to the rescue. Many thanks, Santhan!
