Spicy Indian Food

I have been helping a young woman from Pakistan to offer her delicious spicy Indian lunches to the people in this town who are hungry for truly flavorful Indian food. Samina had Lauren and me over for lunch when Lauren was visiting. Lauren doesn't even like Indian food, but she LOVED Samina's.

I marketed Samina with flyers and such. Samina's first lunch was sold out in a few hours!

Here's the marketing piece I emailed:

A friend of mine, Samina, makes GREAT Indian food.  And cooking is her love. Anyway, this coming Thursday, 12 noon, she is having a public lunch in her home. She has room for only 10 people.

Samina will serve rice and dahl, of course -- even her rice is impeccable. She will have delicious chapattis, an amazing vegetable dish and a vegetable dish with chicken for those who want it, chai, raitta, and dessert. All vegetables will be organic from Everybody's.

At this first public meal of hers, Samina also plans to offer samples from other dishes to taste. $8.00 per meal. All you can eat.

Her cooking is spicy. Samina thought of making both spicy and less spicy dishes. I told her no! I think she should just make her best food, and if people want mild, there are plenty of other places they can go to.

Would you like to come?

Let me know because I am helping Samina this first time. Reservations are needed. Room for only 10 people. Make your reservation now!   gloria [at] heavenletters [dot] org

Make your reservation. Then I’ll see you this coming Thursday, 12 noon or as soon as you can make it.

Bring your appetite!

Love,

Gloria
