Sunshine writing

The hardest thing my daughter ever had to do was to ask her husband to leave. She knew she had to, and she couldn't do it.

At this time, both of our beloved dogs, Sunshine and Ginger, had gone to Heaven.  For those of you who love dogs with all your heart, you understand how Sunshine and Ginger still play a part in our thoughts and our lives.

Ginger never could talk. She had had so much trauma in her life before she came to us that she was mute.  But how she could love. How she could look up at us, and how she could hang on to our every word. And how she could communicate, but not in words. By the way, Gingie loved to have her picture taken.

Sunshine, on the other hand, was verbal. He was filled with wisdom, and he had a simple and powerful way of expressing what he thought.

I hope you don't think it's weird that we could hear what Sunshine was saying.

At this difficult juncture in my daughter's life, I consulted Sunshine. "Sunny, what would you say to Lauren to help her? Her marriage isn't happy. She knows she has to ask her husband to leave, and that's very hard for her to do. "

Sunshine thought for a moment, and then he said:

"When you have a thorn in your paw, take it out."

Isn't Sunshine wise and wonderful? "When you have a thorn in your paw, take it out." Could Dr. Phil have said it any better?

The next day Lauren was able to do what she regrettably had to do.

All this is by way of leading up to this Godwriting blog's next guest writer.  He is a beautiful wise horse in Vermont named Lewis. He even has his own blog.  He can't type, so a dear friend of mine types for him. Lewis is insistent that his typist type word for word what he tells her.

If you want to check out Lewis' blog before I get his entry up, here's his link. www.vermontlewis.blogspot.com

As you can imagine, he loves to have visitors.

Okay, Lewis, be a little patient.  Stop nuzzling me now. I told you I will get your blog up as soon as I can.

I recently partnered with a dear friend to open a shop in town. (The result of not being able to find a job for so long.) We offer lots of metaphysical things, crystals/books/incense/herbs/essential oils and beautiful jewely by local artists. We also offer spiritual advice, and most wonderful of all, an animal communicator comes in a couple of times a month. She is a horse rescuer and currently has a dozen in her care.

As for me, the cat I raised on a bottle has NO PROBLEM communicating his wants and needs--and his attitude. He is a complete diva and wants what he wants when he wants it. Not a lot of wisdom in this particular cat, but he sure is a lot of fun and very good at teaching us to be our own best advocates.
