Synchronicity

On the same day that I had just finished writing the previous two blog entries, I received a flyer from Dr. David Hawkins, author of Power vs. Force. You may remember that I regard Dr. Hawkins and his writings highly.

I say it's synchronicity because, in this flyer, Dr. Hawkins sums up in his words exactly what we were talking about in the previous two entries.

The title of his new book, a compilation, says it all in six words: Dissolving the Ego, Realizing the Self. www.veritaspub.com

Here are some quotes from the book itself:

“There is absolutely nothing in ordinary human experience to compare with the joy of the Presence of the Love of God..."

Can anyone doubt this?

“If, in the exact passing moment of each instant, there is a complete willingness to totally surrender to it, one can suddenly transcend the ego in a flash.  And then the way opens for Realization, wherein the Light of God as Self reveals the Source of all existence and Reality.”

I'm willing, I'm willing, I'm willing.

“If the ego has neither past, present, nor future to focus on, it falls silent and is replaced by the silence of the Presence.  Thus, the way to sudden enlightenment is available at all times.  It occurs naturally when the fascination with the story of the ‘me’ of the past, present or future is relinquished.  The illusion of ‘now’ is replaced by the reality of ‘Always’.”

Ah, may every one of us experience this before the day is out.

Glad to hear a word from you! Such a great one-syllable word -- Wow!

Dr Hawkins writing is powerful. I sat up bolt upright through the whole of Power V Force. Thank you for the gift Senora.

Enlightenment also comes naturally when one searches for that beyond enlightenment, which is liberation, a word I seldom hear.

THE EYES THAT DON'T SEE.

Ego's thought system is based on disconnecting everything, making each thing singular through the 5 senses. In so doing, ego cannot recognise Meaning. Everything the body's eyes can see is a mistake, an error in perception, a distorted fragment of the whole without the meaning that the whole would give.

Vision is almost the opposite of the body's eyes' sight. Vision is sense, quite literally. If it is not the body's sight, it must be understood. And what vision can understand if not meaning of the whole which is Oneness.

Leaving the ego is leaving the world of forms on which the ego's whole continuance depends on. By relinquishing the sight of the body's eyes, the vision of truth is restored, which is restoring the awareness of the Presence.
