The First Thing You've Got to Know about Godwriting
The first thing you've got to know about Godwriting™ is that there is nothing to it! It's a breeze. You don't have to concentrate on it. You don't have to prepare for it.
God says that all you have to do is to sit down with the willingness, have pen in hand, and start writing. The way I see it, Godwriting is so simple and easy and natural that the world made it look complicated -- as if you had to have a Ph.D. in it or something, or, it was only for very special remarkable people, or, it was only for people thousands of years ago and not for ordinary living people like us.
If we were at a workshop, this is the place where someone might raise his hand and say ---
I started this entry after a long talk with Heaven Admin the other day, and this is as far as I got with writing this. Now this morning I see that Heaven Admin wrote a thoughtful response to the blog called Not Even Noise. He asked some great questions. For sure I will respond to his comments and questions in tomorrow's blog.
Heaven Admin has a beautiful way about him. He is a gallant gentleman who has a knack of inspiring and bringing out the best in everyone. Somehow, when Heaven Admin suggests something, you want to do it. He doesn't even have to actually suggest. Maybe he only has to think. I don't know how he does it.
How many years have I supposed to have been working on a How to Godwrite book? And how many years have I collected material for it and not known how to assemble it? Heaven Admin is so graciously organizing the material, and, now I'm so eager to get back into the book. I don't know how he does it, but this very blog entitled The First Thing You've Got to Know about Godwriting, just started writing itself after Heaven Admin and I had been talking. He said something that got me eagerly focussing on the process of Godwriting. I have no idea now what he said. If he could package this gift he has, there would be no remaining procrastination in the world.
With a European Godwriting Tour coming up, this is a good time for your questions re Godwriting too. I hope you'll ask them. That way you, too, will be helping me to fill in the blanks of the How to Godwrite book, and I will be so grateful.
More tomorrow.
Comments
Gloria, dear, I have a question. First, though, I have to say I am impressed by your consistency and service to us readers. Thanks a bunch :-)
When you sit down to write, do you have questions in your mind and have specific topics that concern you or do sort of say: "Hi there, God, what's up today?" Do you allow yourself to become a blank slate or do you have specific intentions about the day's writing?
love and hugs.....Chuck
Beloved Chuck, thank you for your question. Hang on, and let me answer it as its own blog in a couple of days, okay?
Of course, hon. Heaven only knows how you keep up with all that you are doing as it is.
