The Gift of Godwriting
One of the most beautiful gifts God has given to me is the privilege of being present when people start Godwriting. It is a treasure to see new Godwriters' faces and to hear the words they receive.
This past weekend there was a quickly organized workshop for two people from the Sufi House. One is Effendi's niece, Ebru, who is leaving for Turkey Tuesday morning, and the other is Joseph who lives in Fairfield. I am so happy that the two of them could take a Godwriting™ workshop together.
As good as Ebru's English is, it takes extra courage and effort to take a workshop in another language -- most especially without a translator present! I had Joseph, who speaks no Turkish, act as translator! Really, when I couldn't find the words to explain something, Joseph knew how to do it. Of course, Ebru received God's words in Turkish, and then she translated them into English for us.
Tomorrow, I will include their evaluations of the workshop. Today I am giving my own.
Ebru and Joseph asked deep and expansive questions. And, from the first moment, they wrote down God's answers so easily. The words flowed from their pens. The answers they received went on for a long time. In many cases, the answers were surprising. But, of course, there are surprises in what God tells us. If we already saw situations as God sees them, why would we have Godwriting workshops?!!!
Just as in Heavenletters, every question asked and every answer from God were as much for all of us as they were for the Godwriters who asked and received God's answers. Ebru and Joseph's questions could have been mine, and God who answered their questions was also answering my questions and filling my heart with His love and wisdom.
Later we will have a blog entry with some of Ebru and Joseph's first Godwriting.
Next weekend, Santhan and I will be in Las Vegas for an internet TV Interview.
Then the following weekend, December 5 and 6, there will be another Godwriting workshop for two people originally from Turkey who now live here. One of them, for sure, will be flying off the next day for the Rumi Festival in Turkey.
And I think there will be more people coming to this workshop as well.
Thank you, Ebru and Joseph. We have shared something wonderful together.

As one who would love to participate in a Workshop, and will at some point, I believe I have learned to Godwrite through you. From God listening, to God speaking, to God writing. When someone asks questions of me, and even though I do far more readings in person than by email, I am finding it easier to get myself out of the way and "let my fingers do the walking" over the keyboard. Funny thing here -- I can type faster than I can write ... LOL
The Heaven Petals, feedback from attendees and, of course, the daily Heavenletters, ARE a workshop. Not the same as meeting you in person and interacting with other participants, but, hey, it works in the interim.
Beloved Pam, I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't already all the way there! Tell me again where you live?
Godwriting workshops are like divine gifts. Its like each person who comes to a Godwriting workshop is a precious gift with giftwrap. In the workshop we get to see the unwrapping of these gifts and enjoy the presents...presence!
Indeed it is, One. I can tell by the wonderful sharings of those who have attended. How Gloria, you and the attendees wrote of the experiences, it felt as though I were there with you. That's the wonderful thing about the etheric plane -- we really can transcend the physical and join in the universal oneness.
Thank you Gloria. I live in Michigan in a small town between Grand Rapids and Lansing. Not too far from Lauren and I do get to Chicago sometimes, so hopefully will have a chance to meet her sometime.
