The Joy of Writing

I love to write. I don't know what it is about writing, but I love to write.

As I was thinking about this, I thought that, of course, it has to be something I really want to write about. Then I realized that might not be quite true. I remember that in 4th grade, I had to write a paper on the tsetse fly, of all things -- and I wrote it with gusto. There is a satisfaction that writing gives.

Of course, Godwriting™ is by far the most beautiful writing I have ever put my hand to. And the very easiest, yet all writing comes faster and easier since Godwriting.

I think I like to write anything. Everything. Even a shopping list.

I love words. I love their personality and character. I love their voice, their rhythm.

It's magic that we can write. How do these symbols of sound become so much a part of us?

Writing, more than speech, is my way of expression. And also my means of discovery.

I read somewhere once that in the act of writing, we try to convince ourselves that we have a permanence that doesn't exist.

Whatever it is, today it came to me strongly that, of all things I love doing,  I love writing more than just about anything.

And you do it so Beautiful. Right to the point. Love Jack

We love your writing too Gloria, Godwriting and all the interesting blog posts as well. It's great to see you so happy in the stream of your dharma. Brava!

Me too! Me too! I love putting words together and love reading words! Someone I know says she has "writing diarrhea" and I said, Me too! I come here specifically to see what you have written today.
My big issue is in the editing LOL. Thanks for letting me write!
Love from a fellow wordsmith

Writing with such lovely people in mind as you, of course, I am wild about it!

Dorothy, truly, since Godwriting, all writing flows more smoothly. If I see a need to edit now, it's clear to me what to do, not all the back and forth that I used to go through.

I can remember staying up to 3 in the morning to work on a line or two of poetry -- and never get it right.

Writing is not the thought process it once was.

Beloved Dorothy, maybe we could start a Writers' Anonymous support group!

Maybe you would like to go to the Heavenletter Spiritual Community Forum where you could write about your personal spiritual journey, and we could get a chance to sample some of your writing. But you have to promise you won't edit -- just let it flow and be what it is.

It does seem that the ease of Godwriting carries over to greater ease in all writing.

LOL thanks. Specifically the editing I have to do when I reply to blogs, I tend to go on and on......
I don't do much editing unless it's commas or dropped s's or some such nonsense. The writing just flows these days.
Writer's Anonomous....hmmmm....but I don't want to be cured! LOL
