The Leap
When we Godwrite, our reference point is God. Our reference point is not any book we have read, nor creed nor school of thought. No matter how wonderful the books and schools of thought may be, when we Godwrite we have to let go of them. In Godwriting, we have to forgo for a while what we already know or think we know. We have to jump off a cliff when we Godwrite and leave everything behind. A friend of mine calls this The Leap.
Also, when we read Godwriting, whether it’s a Heavenletter or Heavenpetal, we have to take that leap as well. It seems to me that our purpose in reading Godwriting and other spiritual works is to get closer to the Truth. This is kind of like getting a breath of fresh air. We don't pursue the air we have already breathed.
Of course, in the Godwriting we read or write down, God may say much the same as we have already heard or read, for Truth is Truth. Of course, we all like confirmation. I love it too when a Heavenletter says something that I've heard that Buddha said, for instance.
Yet the Source of God’s words is a far greater data bank than the contents or index of anything we have read or learned, no matter how wonderful what we have read may be. God's words come from a far greater data base than all the thoughts in our own minds.
Heavenletters themselves come from a greater data bank than any one Heavenletter. It seems to me that nothing is to become the standard for Heavenletters, not even previous Heavenletters themselves. Each Heavenletter stands on its own.
All we can do, it seems to me, in reading Heavenletters and Heavenpetals and other spiritual works as well is to ask in our own hearts what is true, what vibrates within us, what we feel in our own innocent hearts, not from anything outside us. This asking within goes far deeper than our personal opinion or accumulated knowledge.
I guess comparing and contrasting belong to the relative world and are forms of judgment we don’t need any longer, and maybe never did.
What do you feel?

What Do I Feel???
Dear Gloria and all readers, Every morning when I open my e-mail and Heaven letters is there,I save it till last and savor it so it will last me till the next one. Each one talks to me and gives me a buzz. Thank you! Love Light and have Fun. Jack
I open my mailbox each day and see somewhere in the middle "Subject: Heaven #[Fill in the blank". I am filled with a sense of anticipation about what the message is for the day. Many times it is in direct answer to a prayer, and other times it's a charge to change my thinking or a call to action that I need.
Always there's a "truth" that resonates. Even when it's a message that I've heard many times, it feels not so much a confirmation as a turning of a phrase that makes the message clear to me.
Then to know that others Godwrite as well and that anyone can do it is a joy. The access to this site and the exchange of ideas, thoughts and feelings is like being enfolded in a soft, billowy down comforter.
I feel as though prayers are answered every day, that love and light is loose in the world, and that I, too, can be a miracle to others just as others like you are a miracle to me.
Heavenletters and Heavenpetals are, after all, a confirmation that love prevails and that Godde speaks through us all.
I so look forward to a Godwriting seminar ... it is moving forward (slowly but surely).

Gloria, this small but powerful quote is the key to letting go of all struggle on this planet:
"All we can do is to ask in our own hearts what is true, what vibrates within us, what we feel in our own innocent hearts, not from anything outside us. This asking within goes far deeper than our personal opinion or accumulated knowledge." It covers Trust, Faith, Love, Letting Go and Ego issues all in two sentences! Now that's what I adore about Godwriting and you. You can't even blog without Godwriting. How beautiful!
Gloria, my dear, your last paragraph says it all for me"comparing and contrasting belong to the relative world and are forms of judgment we don't need any longer, and maybe never did"........... and maybe never did !!!
When I read Heaven-letters it takes me to a place that's so different and warm, a place where one belongs..... home, and it feels like one is communicating with a dear friend who loves, just loves, all shades of love, without boundaries, that wraps itself around one in a kind of warmth indescribable, and to me this is "truth" and God is truth and the essence that vibrates within us!!
Gloria ...........Godwriting...... how wonderful.......thanks
Hi Gloria, Isn't that a lovely description all shades of love without boundaries, I am interested in a Godwriting Course I feel I already have long conversations with God, pray regularly and he is certainly in my life now and is here to stay... I am listening for some guidance, I wonder if this is where he wants to lead me?? I only sort of listen and write but I don't know everyone seems so much more expressive than ever I can be... To write God's truth but how does one go about a Godwriting workshop... I am in the United Kingdom does that matter? I feel God wants me to
write down our conversations together.
Karen I am here for you, i always have been, nothing can separate you from my love for you... I was angry for a while and turned my back but you are my child and i can never let you go. I heard your tears and was there in your despair. Shine out your light and do not hide it under a bushel... for you are like a flower and have the gift of the flower within you... So it is time to say to others just as I have shared with you. Nothing can separate my love for all of you my children... Luv Daisy
Dear Daisy,
There is a tendency for us to at first see the value in other people's Godwriting over our own. Sometimes we have to let our Godwriting sit for a while, and then we can go back read it and take what is wonderful.
It's not for anyone to say someone's Godwriting is authentic or not. We can only have our opinion.
Years ago a fine chiropractor who really knows how to muscle-test tested a specific Godwriting I had done. He got that the Godwriting was 98% authentic in meaning. That meant 2% was my individual filter.
There was no question in my mind that your Godwriting was authentic except for one line that did not sound like the God I know. Sounded more like something you had learned and carried with you. Do you know what words I mean?
I wish you could come to a workshop, too. At the same time, angel, you don't need anyone's permission to write down your conversations with God.
One of the things that Santhan plans, as we travel to Argentina and give Godwriting workshops along the way, is to tape the workshops as a basis for on online workshop.
I was extra glad that you posted here today because it gave me a chance to rediscover this blog entry, and I just sent the link to the people who are coming to the Fairfield, Iowa workshop in September.
With blessings and love,
Gloria
P.S. I hope you signed up for notifications so you will know you have a response to your wonderful posting.
Hi Gloria thank you for the great uplifting message. I must confess to being at a crossroads in my personal spiritual journey and with a few decisions i have to make, with God's guidance in all areas of my life.He will lead me the right path to go...
I love Heavenletters have made such wonderful and dear friends here I would be interested in an online workshop if the cost was reasonable. I am going to keep posting for a while at least up and as far as November and then I am not sure what is happening? as I am having to consider personal decisions that will be affecting my future and well for about 6 months may not have access to a computer... Praying that God will provide. Anyway Love, blessings Gloria and many thanks
for your advice and counsel Luv Daisy
Hi Gloria,
Joy here in Santa Barbara.
Is your schedule through California firming up yet?
Is Allan going to sponsor another Godwriting workshop by you here in Santa Barbara?
If he can secure the location and provide on-site support, I will help spread the word through the writing and spiritual communities here.
I would just need to know dates, place, cost and how people can register.
(Think of you often ... hope all is going well!!! I so look forward to seeing you and being with you again ... and to meeting Santhan!)
Love ... Joy
Dearest Gloria,
I have been enjoying your Heaven Letters for a few months now. I understand that you give God Writing workshops or have one of your trained God Writers give the workshops. I am in Denver, CO, USA, and would really like to know how to do this. When and where is your next workshop in the USA? How much does it cost? Will you be having one in the Denver area soon? If not, when and where is your next one? I really, really want to know how to do this. I am a fully ordained Peace Minister, and I have taken clases in listening to and writing words the Holy Spirit speaks, although I am really rusty at it. I've been a student of A Course in Miracles for about 3 years and a student of Kabbalah for about 4 or 5 years. I love God more than anything. I am so close to unconditional love for all, even though I may not agree with some. There is so much I want to learn, and God Writing is at the top of the list. This is my second letter to you. Will you be answering me this time? -- With deep and profound Love, Light, and Peace, Kriss
Beloved Kriss,
Thank you for your beautiful question. I would always answer, so I don't know what happened. I do remember your name and question. I am always so happy when someone asks about a Godwriting workshop. Please accept my apology, dear one. And, again, I'm grateful that you asked a second time.
We are planning a Godwriting workshop tour through the U.S. and onto South America. Hopefully, it will start in the spring. I am pretty sure that we can swing by Denver! Are you up to organizing one in Denver?
You have quite a background there, Kriss!
If you go to the website www.heavenletters.org on the top right you will see Godwriting. Press that, and I'm pretty sure it will take you to the page about workshops.
They usually take place on two consecutive afternoons.
Also on this blog, on the right column, you will find a category called Godwriting workshops. There are about 49 of those! These will give you a good idea about the workshops -- some more than others.
You are a shoe-in for Godwriting!
Write back!
With love and blessings,
Gloria
