The Lost Heavenletter
Ah, I must confess a Heavenletter™ got lost recently. This is what I mean.
The day before yesterday, I had already written down the day's Heavenletter and followed all the procedures to keep it safe for posterity.
Later, when I was changing my clothes before going somewhere, I heard a divine sentence float through my mind. It was so marvelous. It was maybe only seven words, but they were seven unforgettable words. I hurried and finished getting dressed.
When I got downstairs, the sentence was gone. It had simply gone. Where did it go? How could I have lost it?
This is a lesson I have learned more than once. There is a slip betwixt cup and lip. Strike while the iron is hot.
The minute a Godthought comes, I must write it down. I can't be so sure I will remember it. A whisper from God is like a feather and can easily float away. When a whisper from God comes, there is such a feeling of lightness and joy that comes along with it, and losing the thought feels like such a loss. It is a loss.
Will God send me that message again? Is there a file of lost Heavenletters? How do I regain the lost thought?
What I do know is that the minute when such a thought arises, I have to put it first. I don't have to finish what I'm doing. I simply have to put the inspired thought first and write it down. Not even life is to interfere with the coming of Heavenletters.

I have always liked the passages where God says we don't have to remember His words. Strangely, I catch myself all the time trying to remember. As if it could ensure a safer journey or highten its effectiveness. As if God's path was only for good pupils. Even as someone who does not have to worry about passing the words on, I find it hard to shake off that sense of having to remember.

Dear Gloria, Your house will be looking quite funny with pens and paper around every where. Could it be that you are awakening?? Read todays letter again and be happy with it all What you forgot was not meand for all of us only for you and as you said itwas beautiful and meaningful for you so forgetting it does not matter you had your Fill Love to all Jack
How can anything be lost in the Words of I am? Those apparently lost words were probably seeds of Thoughts that are already germinating in you to sprout in a new Heavenletter.
Gloria, I realize that I live in Canada, but we don't all read French!
Any reason why I received a French version and not English? :0)
