The myth of aging

I have read that aging is a myth, one of the mirages we are immersed in.

In terms of the world, aging is a clear-cut example of what God refers to in Heavenletters™ when He says : "Don't be realistic." Realism in the world too often seems to be a lowering of the rope. It is attention to the boundaries of the world.  The world says: "You can only go so far. You can't go further." The world says: "Of course everyone gets old. You can't escape it. You have to come to grips with it."

Of course, the world is talking about the body and not the spirit.

In contrast, I saw something on the Travel Channel about a 102 year old lady in an African country who leads a full worthy life. First of all, you can't believe she is 102. When she walks, she strides. Many of us would be hard-pressed to keep up with her. Her vocation is to appear before groups, healing through chanting.  She is a leader. She doesn't sit around. It was beautiful to watch her.

At the time I was putting this blog entry together, I came upon what David Hawkins wrote about maturity, and I like it very much:

“Maturity entails the capacity to live with the unanswered and uncertainty and take pleasure from the fact that it is a stimulus to learning and further growth and leads to progressive discovery.  The mature mind knows that it is evolving and that growth and development are satisfying and pleasurable in and of themselves.  Maturity implies that one has learned how to be comfortable with uncertainty and has included it as a legitimate ingredient.  Uncertainty leads to discovery, whereas skepticism is stultifying.”  David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. – Truth vs. Falsehood, p. 74

I will respond to David Hawkins' writing more in another blog entry because I believe he may be talking about right-brain thinking.  Right-brain thinking is more heart than mind.  It deals with intuition and creativity. It doesn't have the boundaries that left brain logical linear thinking imposes.

Meanwhile, I want to tell you about a lady in America who has an active web-site. Like me, her whole heart's attention in on her mission with God.

This lady is an amazing example of how to live life. This lady cares, and she makes a difference.  When she read in the last Heaven News -- do you remember there is someone whose email address I can't find and whom I desperately want to reach -- this lady who has a website and a full life wrote that she had put that person on the top of her intent list, willing the owner of lost email address to see my message and get back to me. The lady with an active web site that I am telling you about is 97-years old. And she is young.

Her name is Eva Thayer. She writes books, songs, and is always looking for ways to expand her territory of influence in the world through her web site outreach.

Eva wrote to me over a year ago:

Heavenletters have been a tremendous gift to me all through the years. I cherish each one. It seems to me that all of us who are light workers are internalizing God in one way or another.
