The Power of Metaphor

Not only does Russ Michael spread Heavenletters™ like wildfire and endorse them at every turn, he also includes Heavenletters in his ebooks.

Certainly, I am already dedicated to Heavenletters, yet every time I read what Michael says about Heavenletters, I am bowled over and want to subscribe! Michael truly exemplifies Oneness. He sees no separation. Heavenletters are his to reveal to the world.

I also would like to mention that it was Michael who introduced the Greek, German, and Romanian publishers to Heavenletters. He wrote to the publishers and strongly suggested that they publish Heavenletters™, Love Letters from God, Book One, and Panos Axiomakaris and Monica Visan did! Not only that, these two great publishers invited me to those three countries -- treated me to the whole trip  -- and also made it possible for me to meet Heaven Admin -- Santhan -- in Romania! Talk about interconnectedness! Thank you once again, dear Michael.

I think it is perfectly fitting to make the good point here about the poetic power of metaphors with a sample Heavenletter, one of thousands scribed by Gloria Wendroff, that speaks to the innate poetry found within daily human life itself.

This Heavenletter speaks to the power of words. It is an apt choice for poets and songwriters who strive to become more adept in the choice and placement of the exact right-feeling word in each successive poem or song we script.

It may be a good reminder here that the more we write from our heart rather than from our mind, the more powerful and far-reaching the poetical or lyrical words will travel and linger in the minds and souls of our readers.

Heavenletter #2577 A Vision of God's Love

God said:

Words do not express. They convey something, they give a hint, but they do not begin to express. What can the little word Love be next to what it represents? What quatrain can the four letters reveal?

The same with the word God for Me or any word for Me–words can only convey a smidgeon, a blurred image. How brave are the words that try to represent Me.

And how brave are you to use them! On paper, the best you can do is to use words. You have no pictures of Me to post. Do not misunderstand Me. I am glad for your words that begin to reveal the consciousness of the One Above Compare.

In life, above words, however, you yourself reveal Me. You use smiles. You use actions. You deploy Me. You send Me out into the world.

Of course, nature reveals. A photograph of the sky is as close to a picture of Me as you can take. Photos of babies and dear animals are as close as you can get. And you, beloveds, photographs of you in your life are as close to a photo of Me as you can get. I do not literally have to be seen, for I have you to reveal Who and What I am. I have you to give love to the world on My behalf. You are the one chosen to feel, know, and be My love.

Some might long for an actual picture of Me, but then I would not be God. No photo can be taken of Me. No picture drawn. In order for me to have My picture taken, I would have to have some borders and boundaries. As it is, I am pure light, and that means I am boundless.

No one would really to turn Me into something less than I am just to have a picture of Me. If you would like to catch a glimpse of My light, look into your eyes, and you will begin to see a picture of Me reflected in your eyes.

The joke is on you, of course, because the seeming borders do not exist either! Only as a mirage do they. Only as a facade, do they. You too are of far greater Greatness than your form reveals. Any rendition of you is less than you, for no rendition can show the heart of you which is the same as the heart of Me–all that love.

Equate Me with love. You can take photos that show love, but they are not photos of love. Photos can point to an incidence of love. They are like close-ups of Vastness. But of Vastness, not even the greatest sky can begin to reveal more than a snapshot of Vastness. Like Me, Vastness is beyond any image of it. Vastness is beyond Vastness.

Yet in points in imagined time, you do catch glimpses of Vastness. You catch a glimpse of My light. You catch a glimpse of Me. And you can catch more glimpses. You can make more glimpses of Me. You can create more scenes where My Presence is glimpsed. You can cast My love afloat. You are My love, beloveds. All you have to do is to be what you really are, not this made-up image that is so concerned with the smallness of itself.

What concerns does love have? It just keeps growing. It doesn't try to hang on to itself. Love strews itself everywhere. It beholds itself without any thoughts of itself.

If you want to be everything you have ever wanted to be, all you have to do is to love. Yet, beloveds, love is not something you do. Nothing has to be done to it. You just have to be it, accept that you are love. You are a platform of love, and that is where you come from. But if you think your stance on the globe of the world is the extent of you, then there is havoc in your heart, and you become self-centered when, rightfully and truthfully, you are love-centered. You are My love.
