Three books I loved

I loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the two others in the series. I also saw the three Swedish movies when I was at Lauren's for Thanksgiving. The author,  Stieg Larson, died before the books were published. He is such a good writer, and his translator was amazing. All of Stieg Larson's book are page-turners. The suspense was enormous.

And now one more book in another vein altogether:

The Help by Kathryn Stockett  had a lot of God wisdom in it. Unfortunately, I returned the book to the library before I got down to writing a blog about it.

I would love you to read these books and tell us how you felt about them.  I also realize that not everyone likes the same books.

And then there was East to the Sun by Julia Gregson. At first it takes place in London in the 1930's and then in India.

If I could recommend only one of the above, although I loved them all, I would have to choose Back to the Sun. Back to the Sun was a beautiful surprise. It started out as a delight, a light book, and as the three girls, the main characters, grew, the book deepened. This books makes you laugh, and it makes you cry.

I am amazed at what good books there are out there.

I have more books to tell you about too.

I am reading more these days because I don't have TV.

I'm reading Gora by Rabindranath Tagore in Spanish and am really enjoying it. I don't understand many of the words though.

Ah, One, you are reading a different category of book altogether!
