Welcome, Palau and Brunei

It is exciting to me every day with every new subscriber who comes to Heavenletters™.

There are two recent new subscribers who are the very first ones from their countries. This gives me extra joy.  I wonder how they found us, and I am so glad they did.

The countries are Palau and Negara Brunei Darussalam, Brunei for short.

From Wikipedia:

The Republic of Palau is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean, some 500 miles east of the Philippines and 2,000 miles south of Tokyo. Having emerged from United Nations trusteeship, administered by the United States, in 1994, it is one of the world's youngest and smallest nations. Sometimes the name is spelled in English today phonetically in accordance with the native pronunciation Belau, and it was formerly known in English as Pelew.

How brave to be a small emerging country today. I am proud of Palau and thrilled for its independence and also that one of its citizens found his way to Heavenletters. May we have many Heavenreaders from Palau.

Wikipedia told a little more about Brunei, another country that also gained its independence not long ago:

Brunei Darussalam, (Malay: Negara Brunei Darussalam, Jawi: بروني دارالسلام), is a country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. Apart from its coastline with the South China Sea, it is completely surrounded by the state of Sarawak, Malaysia, and in fact it is separated into two parts by Limbang, which is part of Sarawak. Brunei, the remnant of a very powerful sultanate, regained its independence from the United Kingdom on 1 January 1984.

Listen to this! Officially, Brunei is the State of Brunei, Abode of Peace!

May the whole world soon be the Abode of Peace!

The motto of the State of Brunei is: Always in service with God's guidance.

Isn't that wonderful?

I would love to know the mottoes of more countries! And to know how the two new subscribers from these two countries found us, and, of course, to welcome more Heavenreaders from every country in our beautiful world.

Phoebe and Lim, if you read this entry, will you please tell us more about you and where you live? We would be so happy to hear from you.  And from subscribers from all countries as well!
