When you love a rose

I love the title of this Heavenletter #3957, When You Love a Rose.

All Heavenletter™ titles are not divinely chosen, yet some seem to come as part of the Godwriting™ itself as this one was.

I think the words of this title are an answer to many things. Not an excuse, but an answer. When we love, we love, and what can we do about it?

On the other hand, this title made me start to think of the times I pushed the love in my heart away for no good reason or another, yet I think the deep reason must have been simply fear of being hurt sooner or later. For what other reason could it be that someone would repress the love in her heart?

There has been so much said about how the choice of another road not traveled might have turned out and how our lives would be changed. This is wondering that brings many possibilities but no answer. Yet I do sometimes wonder what if I had chosen something I did not choose, where would I be now?

Part of me thinks that most of us, or all of us, would wind up in the same place anyway, for, if our thoughts and our consciousness direct our lives, then this would be so. By the same token, had we chosen a different path, then we would have had different thoughts and perhaps not be right where we are.

We can never know. What we can know is that God has been good to us.

No matter what my life might have held had I taken other turns in the road, I cannot imagine that I would ever not love a title like When You Love a Rose.

Gloria, dear, is it not true that every decision we make changes everything in the entire universe? If that is so, every decision we make changes us, and, therefore we are different than if we hadn't made that decision or made a different decision. At least on the level of the 3D physical.
