Who can resist a God like this?

Here are some excerpts from the personal Godwriting™ I am privileged to do:

Gloria: I feel adrift, God.

God:

How adrift can you be with Me?

Gloria: Yesterday I went to see Franklin’s most amazing garden. How he loves every leaf and stem and bit of soil and inch of nature’s glory. He has a very intimate relationship with his garden. One of the decorating magazines or TV shows has to feature his garden. There is no other like it on the planet.

Franklin kept giving me one gorgeous flower after another. Lush sweet-smelling irises such as I have never seen before – the size of their blooms, the lushness of them. They oozed lushness. They were like rich living beings, enjoying themselves. Franklin  gave me true Japanese peonies like giant carnations. Blue delphiniums. The bouquet was too much for me to carry. No bride ever had a bouquet as beautiful or so huge. I could hardly stand the greatness of it all. What You have created, God.

And then I am embarrassed to say  there was a day I was going through all kinds of stuff, and I went on and on and on with a whole page of moaning and groaning. God let me say it all, and then, with His answer, He swiftly swept my troubles away:

Now, give Me a kiss, Gloria, and move on in your day.
