Indian Ocean Update
I'm writing this on Friday. The ocean is a meditating ocean much like yesterday. This morning it wears a shawl of rippling blue waves with silvery threads weaving in and out.
This internet drought gave me a chance to go down to the ocean this morning (Friday) and walk on the beach where, as I said, the ocean looks a lot like yesterday's only this morning the waves are in a hurry. The wind makes the ocean waves look like they’re rolling downstream instead of toward the shore.
Walking on the seashore makes me think of a lot of things like:
How did the seashells and rocks land here rather than somewhere else? How did the seeds for the foliage that covers the ground before the sand begins -- the green sedum with little red flowers and luscious other growing things -- how did they get here?
And how did nomads land in the desert and sailors by the sea?
And how is it my parents were born in Russia and later gravitated to the United States where all of their children were born? All perfectly explained, yet not explained at all.
And how did I get to all the places I’ve been and find myself here at this beach now and not another?
How is it that I am alive on Earth now at this time of the internet? If were alive at another time, how would Heavenletters™ be distributed? Does everything somehow work out to perfection on its own without notice to us? Was it all perfectly planned, I wonder. Did I come here, or was I placed here, and you, how does it happen that you are there and not here?
Now this is Sunday that I'm writing and posting this blog entry.
Today's Ocean Update
The Indian Ocean has big waves right now, reminiscent of Japanese paintings of waves. Very energetic and blue and beautiful.
Internet is A-One and the phone has a dial tone.
I already mentioned that my camera is not working.
And now, last night, my kindle, named Schmindle, died. What is going on?!!! The light will go on and not stay on. I charged it last night, just in case, but this didn't make any difference. It won't budge. It's not working! It's not working!
