Sharon's question and God's response

You may ask what this photo of an unfinished gazebo has to do with Sharon's Godwriting™ from the last Continuing Ed workshop in Iowa.

I wish you could have been at this workshop, for Sharon spoke about the sanctuary she was making for her daily Godwriting. She told us about it, but didn't write it. Sharon, perhaps you will write more about what you told us. Maybe when you send me the photo of the dedicated space in your yard, we can have a blog all about it.

Now, let's get to the Godwriting that Sharon received:

Sharon to God:

Dear God, that Thy Will not mine be done, what is Thy Will for me now?  What are the tiny steps I can be taking to prepare for that?  What is the Big Picture, but also, what are the increments to get there?  I trust that Your Will for me will be in the way that is best for where I am now, in the big, 'Messy Marvelous Middle' of life...
 
I do know that you speak to me now through others. And I do know that I am wired for You to speak directly to me!  I want, above all else, to do ALL that I CAN to enhance this way now!
I do feel that YOU and Your work are my Purpose now.  I want to be On My Purpose with Your work.

The smaller I has been keeping me rooted in the cares of this world, when I also know I can now step back and see a bigger picture/Purpose now...with Your Divine support.  I want so much to NOT MISS any Support that You might send my way!!  I want to be slowed-down enough that I will not miss a thing!  Please make it clear enough that I canNOT miss it, as this is my most earnest Purpose!

I can see that making time every day is a basic promise that I can make to You, whether in my dedicated space or elsewhere.  Please show me Your Way with me as I get back on track with baby steps that I hope will become Giant ones toward You.

Please help me with every decision I make in each day, to trim the fat and become Focused in Faith in this way! Love, Sharon

God to Sharon:

Dear Sharon, I would be most honored to meet you in your new space each day, for starters - or wherever.  I know you have lived your life as a prayer in the past, and I am ready to embrace you in that practice again.  Our time together is already rich and I look forward to these steps we'll be taking together.  Yes, I have loved that you take/hear messages from others so closely to your heart these days.  This approaches the new plateau to which We will be taking things.  Between now & then when you travel with Alison in August, I will have you fortified to hold your own in your Way with Me.  This in turn will help her to continue on her journey beyond there being "only one right way for All," and that these ways should all look the same!  Your time with the Adkins will be fortified in this same way to help each of you as well!

I can hardly wait for tomorrow and tomorrow with you!  With Love,  God
