Arnand, Heaven Admin's uncle, goes to work by 7 a.m. six days a week. He comes home at 7 p.m. as well. I have stayed at Arnand's house and have seen his routine. I'll have more to say about beloved Johnson, Santhan's other uncle, in another blog.

Here is the amazing thing. Arnand doesn't come home tired. He comes home as fresh as a daisy.

How is this possible? He puts in a full day's work. It is his company. The responsibility is his. He works hard. He cares. He has a lot to deal with, and he comes home from work as if he had just come home from a vacation. Actually, more rested!

We would like to announce Anchor Pail & Drum's largest expansion yet, with the purchase of a nearby property and existing reconditioning business. The new premises, Anchor II,  is undergoing major renovations and re-engineering to bring it up to our environmental and safety standards.

When I taught school, as much as I enjoyed teaching, I came home tired. As I remember, some nights I never recovered. I dragged myself around until I went to bed early.

I try to think what the difference is. Why are so many people exhausted when they get home from work?

Our Company believes that our people are our most valued assets and therefore we operate with strong family values and integrity. We believe in investing in our people by providing training and education.

I suspect that Arnand never says to himself: "Oh, how tired I am." I bet he never says: "I can't wait until the day is over."And I haven't seen him rushing. He is fast and efficient, yet not ever getting out of breath.

He goes to work with a smile, and he comes home with a smile. He loves to cook supper, and he does it with grace. From what I see, Arnand enjoys every step of his life, and nothing hangs heavily on him.

If Arnand is like most of us and really would like to sleep longer in the morning, you wouldn’t know it. He lives his life as though it were a song.

Heaven Admin shares this same quality of loving what he is doing. Is it from a gene? Or is it from their way of thinking?

I can say two things definitely:

1. I have never heard a complaint from either uncle or nephew.
2. To watch how Arnand and Heaven Admin interact with life is to be inspired.

I am left wondering: From where did their inspiration come?
