When I was still in Chicago before coming to South Africa this time, my daughter and I overheard two teen-age girls talking about a friend of theirs who was let go from her job at PetSmart. These two young ladies were behind us as we walked on a sidewalk in Chicago:

When I helped people with job search and resumes, etc., I used to give a very quick test called Managing with Style. This was from a book by Rowe and Mason. The book was based on Rowe and Mason's Ph.D. thesis which was about Operating Styles.

I liked this test. It was quick to take -- probably five minutes -- ten minutes at most. To go over it,  took maybe ten minutes as well....

It has been a long time since I told you about the adventures of my daughter in Chicago.
