Welcoming a new translator

It is exciting when a new translating angel arrives on the scene. It is especially exciting to have a magnificent translator to bring Heavenletters out to the population of China in their native language.

 Welcoming a new translator

Did you ever see a happier baby?!!

Here is the email that our first translator of Chinese sent this morning:

Beloved Gloria:

My  real name JIA Yingxuan, in Chinese is 贾颖绚。JIA(贾)is my surname, Ying(颖)means bright and clever, Xuan(绚)means fresh and gorgeous. I had been a lecture and editor in university after I got my PH.D in civil engineering in BEIJING JIAOTONG University. One year ago, my son, a lovely angel was born, so I am a mama at home now to take care of him. Maybe I will go out to work after  The Great Shift year 2012, haha, I follow GOD signs.

Some words I am not very sure about GOD meaning, or it’s important and key sentence, I reserved English in order to people understand it by themselves.

I found I have no single photos in recent two years, all with my son, I send you one wth him, later I will send you my single picture.

GOD BLESS YOU!

Love you

JIA Yingxuan

I wonder how different the world might be if we were all given names with inspiring meaning at birth? Yingxuan, please tells us what your little boy's name is. I know he has a good one and a bright future.

I learned this morning that one in every five people on the planet lives in China.

Never ever did I ever dream that one day I would be thinking in terms of reaching souls, yet here I am!

Beloved Yingxuan, how do we get Yingxuan's translations of Heavenletters out? Are there spiritual web sites in your country where Heavenletters could be posted? How do we make Heavenletters well-known in China?

I will go through the data base and be sure to let the Heavensubscribers we have from China know that Heavenletters are now available in the beautiful Chinese language.

How beautiful is this:

天父说: (God said:)

Captains of Fortune, you set sail today. Every day you take a voyage. You are at the helm. Set sail for the shore you seek. Follow the stars to your destination. Follow your heart to your destination. Follow Me, for, am I not your Destination?

Is there somewhere you would rather be than with Me? Is there something else you find more entertaining than I? Is there something else that offers you the treasures I hold out to you? The treasures are right within your grasp. Hold your hand out, and I will give great treasure to you. I will give Myself to you. I will give Yourself to you.

In the passage above, God speaks of great treasure that he gives to us. You are a treasure he has just sent to us. Thank you.

This is a huge step forward and certainly feels God directed. I like that Yingxuan speaks of the Great Shift, possibly with tongue in cheek as to the Mayan hoopla, but perhaps also in recognition of the massive spiritual awakening going on in the world, of which I would consider her to be an important part. If there is a particular Chinese take on this I would be most interested.

I hope that the woman from China who used to respond fairly regularly to Heavenletters knows about these new translations. Was her name Rebecca? Surely not her real name in any case. She always seemed to be isolated in the sea of humanity surrounding her and desperately clutching to a piece of driftwood to stay afloat. I would think being able to read Heavenletters in her own tongue would be a great comfort. She has not been around for quite awhile and I hope she is all right.

I often think of the translators as I read Heavenletters because they so often reflect the particular American culture and idiomatic setting they come out of. How would you translate "home run" or "knock one out of the park" or "inching along"? It must often present a puzzle to put into meaningful terms, something that translators of ancient world Scriptures are faced with in the same way.

Wow Charles! Awesome thoughts.

This is really something big for Heavenletters, Yingxuan, China and all of us.

Thank you for joining the team Yingxuan. The photograph of you and the baba puts a big smile on my dial. Too beautiful! You're definitely going to have fun with all the "idiomatic settings" that Charles writes about. Heavenletters often includes expressions from many cultures. Don't be surprised if God uses a Chinese expression soon!

The Heavenletter looks so amazing in Chinese characters. I've got Chinese Mandarin on my list of languages I'm going to learn. I love how the whole Heavenletter fits into so little space. This would be easy to print on t-shirt!

Thanks for all kindness! Thanks a lot! My little boy's nick name is HEHE, in Chinese is 河河, its meaning is a river, just like a love river and joy river flowing into people's inner heart little by little, and in Chinese 银河(The Galaxy) is just a Heaven river,Haha,I believe every baby comes from the Heaven!

In recent years, There has been springed up many spiritual web site, such as http://blog.sina.com.cn/bjdavid188(David blog,my good friend) , I put the Chinese Heavenletters on it!

Beloved Yingxuan, I love your little boy's name and all its flowing meanings.

I agree with you that all babies are fresh from Heaven!

Dear Innerpeace, I could not get the link you gave to work. Thank you so much for posting Heavenletters there. As soon as Heaven Admin can get you the special address, Chinese added to the subscribe page etc. then we can welcome subscribers to your translations.
